Did anyone get a copy of this?
-
Vinyl out 27/11.
I guess someone forgot to put the order in at the plant with a release date this far back...
-
Vulnicura's got a coloured pressing now too. Should be up on OLI

Picked up a deluxe copy of Vulnicura on RSD...had no idea there was a deluxe edition. I believe its just extra actate artwork, and possibly the gatefold is matted in this one only? Its literally the softest cover I've ever held. Sounds odd but the gatefold is super soft, its gorgeous! Sounds fantastic...
Man this album is so damn good! Forget the reissues this is where its at! And it was only $20 (for the deluxe) word!
Pretty sure that's the standard first pressing. I don't think there was an RSD edition...

Got mine yesterday. No damage in shipping and I didn't pay for the tracking. If anyone isn't happy with theirs please sell me Biophilia and Medulla. I bought what I could afford at the time and i'm kicking myself for not picking those two up.
Contact your local record stores. A fair few places are getting these in in then next few weeks.

Post a pic? Please bb

BUT the Rough Trade one I posted earlier is a much better picture

My copy of Vulnicura came today. Vinyl's heavier than the represses and acetate slip cover's pretty cool. Sounding really ace too.
-
Has anyone heard of a double colored vinyl Vulnicura release? (on Rough Trade) Is it different than the Amazon copy? It's certainly more expensive...
It's definitely black.
-
So they sound like shit?
Not at all. As far as I can tell, the sound is the only redeeming quality but I've never had any other copies of these albums so I have no idea how they compare.
-
So as far as packaging goes... The 200 Gram versions are the way to go right? I have the 200 Gram Greatest Hits and Its awesome. Just wondering about the other albums. They should have done these on 200 gram too. With better quality packaging. I feel like these should have been maybe $10 less considering how cheap they feel.
I'm not 100% on this but I think these pressings are just using the OG packaging + presses back from 93/95/97 etc hence why they're <120g and the sleeves are the same cheap material the OG copies had. I think the only album that isn't using the original packaging is Volta for obvious reasons, seeing as the original vinyl release is so excessive. I entirely agree though. These vinyl are cheaply made and I wish they would've used 2009-2011 remastered presses instead at least with proper, sturdier jackets. I still can't get over how flimsy Homogenic is...
-
Q: Is the Azealia Banks LP still on for RSD? I can't find it on any lists...
-
I just went to get these. I've only played through Debut so far but it sounds pretty good. The sleeves however are ridiculously thin for the single sleeved LPs (Debut,Post,Homogenic,Volta). The Gatefolds are thick and super glossy so they're more than fine though (Vespertine, Medulla, Biophilia)

My copies had an attempted delivery today and I'm also still on processing, haha.
-
Yep still there right now. "Processing."
That actually gives me hope for my still 'processing' orders...
-
So mine arrived today and they're lovely and everything. BUT the thing is: I never got a shipping confirmation email, which means I didn't get sent the tracking number I paid for and neither has the status of my order on my online account changed from "Processing".
And while I get that it's about the music at the end of the day and I'm all about supporting a local independent label, this has certainly coloured any future OLI dealings.
Wait. Your account never changed from processing?! Oh OLI
-
Just checking but there are shipping from the UK right?
-
And Medulla is out so that's the entire collection!

(Also, a better look at Debut

I thought colored copies were only coming from OLI and Amoeba?
Nah, they're pretty widespread. Amazon UK + other UK Based record stores like Norman Records are getting them in. The only difference is that they're not getting copies until March 30th onwards for the majority of the albums
-
Didn't OLI have them be sold out and then put more online? I'm still waiting on my Post, Homo, Vespa!!!
I'm not sure about them going back online. They did last time they sold out but they could have possibly gone through all their stock now considering that there will have been a large amount of the 5000 going to distributors for shops + a good few going to the MoMA too...
Saying that, its the end of the UK work day for the release date and both my orders are still processing...
-
Is that Debut on a crosley? Noooooooo
I apologise for exposing you to such a thing.
-
Just ordered. How long did it take for you guys to get this?
I took like 2-3 weeks for them to get it in stock but only 2 days to get it after shipping which is insane from Sweden to the UK. I'm pretty sure they order them in as people order them online.
-
-
Yeah, mines the same as your first order. I wish companies who take pre orders would ship them a few days before release date so they arrive near it. It sucks when you get your stuff a week after release day. Shipping from the UK isnt quick.
I guess maybe OLI is the kinda company to not ship until release date?

The David Bowie store had a separate version that came with an extra 10" so I assume it's only that version that has sold out. Like itsgoodtobefree said, it's still readily available on amazon and other retailers.
