I wish I had known the 500 limit applied to the art prints, I thought it was for the colored vinyl as well so I pre-ordered last night...$93.32 with shipping, ugh...

I liked what I heard a lot, especially New World Towers, I Thought I Was a Spaceman, There are Too Many of Us, and Ghost Ship....I think it's a quality release.

Agreed. The first 3 songs they premiered were great. The rest of the album seems a little uninspired - still better than most of the music out there though.

I felt that way on first listen, but after a few more spins it really grew on me. To me sounds like an album that could have come out after LWW and before 2000 in terms of style. I really like the power in the vocals.

I DL'd it from the email that said the vinyl would be coming late, and it says it's the deluxe version in the email, but it only had the standard 14 tracks.  

I haven't listened to anything except what they released officially, I may wait until the album comes out.  Based on the four released songs it at least sounds more energetic than Dominoes, although I liked that album too.

LP has extra track Breakdown....CD still has 14

Thanks, guess I'll either buy it on iTunes as well or rip the 7" digitally when I get it.

The iTunes listing has the songs from the bonus 7" and an extra track, bringing the song total to 17.

Does anyone know if the CD will have these extra tracks?

First thoughts on the new singles:

1) As Tim ages his voice gets way worse (though I do like it on Evil.. and wish he sang that way on all tracks)

2) lyrically it seems to be pretty weak.

3) Lars' voice keeps getting better

4) Music at least is pretty great.

I thought Tim's voice sounded more energetic and engaged on the new songs than on LTDF or some of his other work in the previous years, like his first solo album.  I think it suits the music better.  I was concerned the lyrics would be like that "Fuck You" song, covering ground they've covered tons of times before, but I was pleasantly surprised here. 

I got the army green vinyl bundle and cassette as well.

Just heard those songs on the radio show, damn they are good! I like the sound of the production, it sounds full and vibrant, similar to LWW and 2000. LTDF sounds a bit flat in comparison, can't wait to hear more!

I did the pre-order so i could hear the two new tracks... and they are AWESOME!!!!! They actually sent 3 but we've kinda heard Honor is All We Know before. The other new tracks are Collision Course and Evil's My Friend. So jacked right now!!!!!

What is the style of music like? Hard like Rancid 2000? Or more of a mix?

How do you guys feel about there only being 14 tracks? Do you think they cut filler for this one? I'm not used to so few tracks from these guys.

Every time I see this thread pop up, I get excited and then let down again.  I want to hear this album already!

So the official release date of the Interrupters album is August 5th. I am assuming the Rancid Tribute album will be released around that time, maybe a little after, and I'd like to hope the Rancid release date is around this time as well.

That would be nice…the only thing that concerns me is the fact that they apparently aren't touring this year.  I don't think they've ever released an album without touring to support it.  Maybe they'll have a change of heart and decide to tour in the fall, like when Indestructible was released.  Anyway, the new Pennywise was announced last week for mid-July, so if we don't hear about Honor is All We Know by mid-July, I'd assume it's not coming out this summer….I just wish they'd give us some info.

If it is coming out this summer maybe they're timing it to release both in the same time frame?

Not a good sign…Best Buy and Barnes and Noble removed this from their sites.  When you search it no longer shows up.
