$6 for:
the first boredoms lp
the first two frank zappa lps(one in mono)
and three john fahey albums from like, the original takoma pressings in 1964
all in pretty much pristine condition(the fahey albums have some library markings on them, but the records are mint, essentially.)
honestly one of the best days of my life.
-
so the victims 7-in will be sold on their tour(i.e. at mdf?)
i think i'll pick it up there if that's so.
-
is krallice going to have these on their tour/at MDF?
-
I got "Into Lake Griffy". The test says 1/20. I don't know if that means it's numbered 1 or if it's one of 20. Either way, great album and stoked beyond stoked to have the test.
i also picked this up(well, i'm in the process of doing so). pretty stoked as well. best thing to come out last year.

goddamnit. i am trying to save money here!
ordered, along with the golden city ten-inch(i figured a record with that pretty of a cover had to be good. luckily golden city's myspace makes it seem like i'm right.)
-
i think the first four black sabbath albums are easily found on 180 gram.
-
pm'ed!
-
well, bummer.
if anyone wants a cheap listening copy('cause i listened to it, not really a big fan), get at me. thanks for the heads-up.
-
i found a pretty nice copy of "devil's night out" at a garage sale for a dollar. i don't want it.
it's a single LP, black vinyl, no insert(i don't know if inserts came with it or not.) pressed on taaang!
looking on ebay, the only one comparable to this is going for $50, so... i'll sell for less than that, as i got this so cheaply.
make me an offer.
-
i just got the boredoms - soul discharge for $1 at a local radio station's record sale. pretty exciting, though i have no idea how rare it is.
-
best news i've had all day.
-

the ergs/teenage bottlerocket: uti 4 - clear red - $9
ninja gun/whiskey & co: uti 2 - gold - $9
forstella ford - insincerity down to an artform - hand # 284/330 - make offer
bomb the music industry! - goodbye cool world! - british import pressing - $14

bomb the music industry!/mustard plug : uti 3 - $9

I don't know why you quoted me and made your comment. I never slagged on aggressive music. I referred to my tastes, not the music itself.
Reading, it works.
Well you did refer to your tastes as 'refined'. Probably a bad choice of wording on your part as that implies that it's beneath you.
this, right here.
-
jane doe is an epic record whether you dig their music or not. a landmark record in the genre
Eh, it's good, but I don't think I'll ever listen to it again. My tastes are more refined and that genre doesn't sit well w/ me anymore. I could listen to "Clarity" every day of the week still though.
man, i hate it when people slag on aggressive music as "beneath them" or "less refined" than other things. it's cool if you're not into it, but you don't have to belittle it.
back on topic, jane doe in a landslide. jimmy eat world is just not my thing at all.
-
stoked on this.
pat the bunny rules.
-
ordered! don't REALLY have the cash for this, but since both the band and the label involved rule, i can deal.
super stoked for this.
-
this comp fucking rules, and having more kill the client on vinyl can't be a bad thing.
i am wondering where i would ever wear that shirt, though.

i ordered the re-pressing of "my love my way" by modern life is war, and they had a raffle for a limited re-pressing of their 7-in to celebrate the re-release, and lo and behold, i won one. i'm pretty sure it's the most limited piece of MLIW vinyl, and since i'm a huge fan(actually just got lyrics from "a tale of two cities" tattooed on my shoulder), i was super excited.
super pleasant surprise.
fucked up rules too.
-
so, uh, no-one's interested in the other two?

first time poster, long time lurker.
anyway, i spent too much money moving this week, and i need to recoup some cash, so i am selling a couple of records.
i don't have set prices, as if i don't get any good offers here, i'll throw them up on ebay.
anyway.
i have
btmi - get warmer, picture disc, pink screened cover(limited to 10, according to dead format.) this has never been played, i bought it while i was between record players this is gone.
pig destroyer - prowler in the yard, picture disc, this has been played once or twice. released on reptilian, not relapse. i don't know the pressing info, but this is out of print, and pretty.(in a gory sort of way.)
blacklisted - heavier than heaven, lonelier than god, record release pressing. 61/200. clear vinyl. this has never been played.
so, make offers. my ebay name is vanhalenlover243(if you want to see people vouch for me as a buyer), otherwise, i have no real proof i'm a non-shady dude, but... yeah. if you want pictures, ask.
For Sale: Kid Dynamite, Gaslight anthem, etc.
