a dim bulb just means that the bulb has gone dim, it won't have any effect on the performance and the only thing it says is that bulbs apparently wear out
that's not to say that other components don't have a certain limited lifespan, with older equipment there are many parts that can (and will) begin to malfunction due to age, but there isn't a direct correlation
Thank you so much for the response. I guess like any electronic device, you just enjoy it while you can. I am relieved, however, to find out this at least isn't a warning sign.

I recently got my hands on a Sanyo TP 1012 for dirt cheap and aside from a few small cosmetic flaws, it plays wonderfully. However, I've always noticed that the strobe bulb is extremely dim.
I can see it come on in a dark room, but not enough to truly reflect on the platter, and with a light on, you wouldn't even know it was on.
I've done multiple tests with other lights and applications, and even by ear, and they all show that the table holds a consistent speed, but my question here is; should this cause me to worry about a potentially bigger issue? I can live with a dim bulb, I just don't want it to be the first step to something more.

Is it the UK press?
The description doesn't tell that unfortunately.

For anyone that's fine with importing this, there's a UK seller called Zoverstocks on Amazon (US site) selling the black version for $25.98 plus $3.99 shipping. It's going in and out of stock but I did manage to place an order last night since I've been unlucky with catching it in stock elsewhere. Hopefully it ships.
-
Hm, that's a bit odd, but I'm glad you got it either way. I've been dreaming of the day we got a vinyl edition of this, so I'm definitely placing an order.
-
You said you already received it? The label's site is a bit confusing. It says 44 in stock, yet it says 9/4/2015 for the release date, which is also what Amazon says.

I own the Get Rich Or Die Tryin' release from them and it sounds great. It seems to be a identical release to the original as far as the actual pressing itself goes. I don't own the original vinyl release so I may be wrong but from the research I've done that's how it seems. It's definitely a step above the CD version that I do own.
It includes a neat lithograph cover but unfortunately isn't gatefold. It's not a deal breaker, but for the price paid I expected it to be gatefold since it is two vinyl.

Yeah it's 5 albums 2 - 7" and 2 CDs
Thanks for the response.

I'm thinking of ordering the BHR bundle, but I wanna be sure first, it comes with seven vinyl and two CDs?

Is the generic one poly lined? I've had a couple albums recently come with a printed sleeve but the actual disk came in a poly lined generic sleeve. It's actually a good thing because printed sleeves tend to be pretty rough on records.
Yes, it's poly lined and I was thinking the same exact thing. I'll keep the printed sleeve but leave it in the white one. Thanks for the response.

I got this in the mail yesterday and noticed that in addition to the generic white inner sleeve the LP itself is stored in, there was a thicker one with the name of the album printed on it. However, the thicker one is empty. I am a little confused on this. Do I have the option to use that one instead of the generic one? What confuses me about this is if that's an option why did it ever come with a generic one.

Found and bought!

It does come with bonus tracks and I found it out by having it in my hands and spinning it right now. It's 33 not 45 rpm which surprises me a bit. It does sound really good though.
Also, the standard comes in poly sleeves, not like the deluxe but just clear ones but still very nice sleeves for the price. I'm glad the offered options too. As nice as the deluxe looks I still think it should be $30-$35 tops, not $40 but as you said, hard to complain when a perfectly serviceable version is out there for under $20.
Thanks so much for the response. I'm glad to know it came with them.

Man, the black is super basic, not even a printed inner sleeve or any album credits. It does come with a download card. Can we get some pics from someone who picked up the deluxe white? If it's gatefold and printed inners I'll consider. I mean I guess I can't be too upset about the black at the amazon price point but still.
How did you find this out? I'm mainly asking because I'm wondering if the black comes with the bonus tracks.

Has anyone heard anything else about this gold re-issue? Most sites either say pre-order still or unavailable even though the release date was scheduled for this week.

I got mine today. I can also say that it's a very nice release overall. I couldn't really ask for more from the sound quality and noise was non existent. The gatefold is also really cool with the collage of pictures and the insert really gives a good look into the story behind the album.
Also, if anyone is concerned about the entire album being put on one vinyl, like I was, don't worry. I didn't notice any IGD on either side.
