Got my Newbury today, it did not come with a download code.

The initial reaction is that is pretty cheap and not really that 'special' for a limited edition, but keep in mind that only 1,000 of this version exist. It's value lies in it's rarity alone. Also keep in mind that Newbury charged a pretty fair price all things considered. Under $30 for a very limited run LP is fair to me, considering it's essentially the same price as the standard LP. 

Still, I wish the sleeve quality were a bit higher, it's pretty flimsy. It arrived in great condition though. Just need to protect the hell out of it.

has anyone who pre-ordered received a ship notice yet? Specifically from Newbury Comics? Just curious to see when the record ships, I assume not until Friday but they sometimes ship sooner.

No surface noise or popping at any point? I was under the impression that at least two people had some noise at the same isolated spot. (Beginning of side B, if I recall.) Other than that, everyone is saying their copies sound amazing.

I've listened 3 times all the way through and have no noise, so I guess I got lucky? Lucky is a weird word to use when we're often paying $30 or more for copies of albums we already own.

Still totally worth it though!

Crazy, hadn't checked in on this in a while. Sounds like someone got a bad pressing? I'd be curious to see what others think once they get their copy. In complete honesty it's one of the better sounding LPs I own. Maybe I got really lucky? No surface noise on my end, maybe the discogs poster just has a shitty player.

The Amazon page was updated. Looks like some third party copies in stock. Who knows if its the clear version though.

I see Marvelio is selling some, I've used them through Discogs before. I would definitely recommend.

Arrived via USPS media mail yesterday. Not sure if i'ts been mentioned but there are 4,000 copies of this print, not 3,000.

It arrived in great condition. It sounds SUPERB. My only complaint would be the sleeve, it feels a bit thin. I was hoping for a really nice stock for the sleeve, something a bit more durable. 

The records are beautiful. The center of each side is marked by a rorsach blotch, otherwise there's nothing to indicate which side of the record it is. Took me a bit to put it together.

Hope everyone that wants a copy gets one, it's the best the album has ever sounded, imo.
