Hell yes, thanks for mentioning this guys - I've been waiting to hear these early ones. I gave up on Discogs. Anyone heard either of these? I loved those early singles, hoping this is more of the same.

I haven't researched much about this, but is there an easy phone app that allows you to scan barcodes/select records easily? From what I remember, Discogs was creating an app.
As for me, my collection was small enough to add into Discogs and then for each new LP, I add it in once I receive it in hand.
An app would be genius - some way to scan the barcode? Although would different pressings have the same UPC? I have a mission holes in adding albums to my discogs list because if I'm not sitting right next to them with a laptop where I can compare Matrix numbers I just wait. Plus I'm usually listening to it at the time so.....it's a mess.
At least when I buy stuff from there I just hit 'add to my inventory' that's nice.
Too many pressings of those classic records I picked up at thrift stores over the years - who knows which pressing this is.

Please note: this is also included in every Special 10th Anniversary Blue Marvel Edition of Illinois.
We pressed 2,000 Chicago-city-flag star-shaped 12" singles of a demo version of "Chicago" for the Blue Marvel edition of Illinois, but made an error: we printed 45 RPM on the label instead of the correct 33RPM. "I made a lot of mistakes." We're now selling these separately and hope you enjoy (at 33RPM).
Thanks guys! Have a copy of Illinoise - but want to hear this demo. Cool shape too.

Seriously - appreciate the lack of hate (generally) here. This sort of thing makes sense though right? There's only going to be more and more music that isn't 'new' and those young kids just getting into the vinyl game are going to want all those sweet oldies on vinyl. Seems like math - so I can't actually figure it out.

This arrived late last week, the CT version, both clear with the tiniest bits of color swirled in, nice. The first disc is killer, keep going back to it. The second one feels like the tracks are a psych take on his style; more drawn out, slower feedback stuff, but overall fantastic record - more of the same as Oshin. Lots of packaging, random words on messy paintings, not sure how much that stuff adds to this but I support any expanded edition of his stuff.

I was looking for that last Shattered Records last release of Jay's for a while. Figured I would have missed out forever. Walked into Coop 87 randomly and there was a STACK of them under the counter. Didn't think they were real. Got one for me and a friend but should have bought the whole pile, but I figured someone else would be as psyched as I was. Tried to go back AND THE WHOLE STORE WAS GONE.
No, still there, have randomly good stuff all the time maybe thanks to Kemado records and Sacred Bones being in the building? Still have no idea how a stack would have ended up there for $5 a piece.
