i think the glass one will at least lessen that bend. maybe do it once. let it sit under something heavy for a couple of months, then do it again. you certainly cant play it now, so youve really got nothing to lose by trying.

i got the new next what well over a year ago and it was warped the second i pulled it out of the record sleve.

i emailed no idea and they said no big deal mail it back and we'll give you a new one. well i'm lazy and went on tour and never did it.

now i've still got this record sitting in my collection.

does anyone have any solutions to fix this?

i was told if you place two pieces of glass around it, let it bake in the sun for a bit, then let it cool...bam new record...

its worth a try but once again i'm lazy and never done it...

any other ideas? anyone succesfully fix a warped record?

this is a good method if you do it right. leave it in the sun for just a few minutes. you should be able to tell how warm it is by touch, it should get to no more than 80-90 degrees fahrenheit. i guess if youre really anal about it, you could use one of those thin plastic thermometers to tell the temperature between the glass.

but after it gets to the right temperature, just take the plates and record and set them, as is, on a cool flat surface, and wait a few hours for them to cool. and when you take the record out from between the glass, it should be perfectly flat again.

last week i went to a sunnO))) gig in seattle and i picked up the altar 3xLP for 20 bucks. awesome. so much cheaper than online.

eluvium was the opener and i bought copia and lambent material from him. and then i thanked him at the end of the show and he gave me a copy of his TIC series. i think it was #20? the one right before explosions in the sky did one. badass.

take a vicodan or something before you take off. or a couple of the tylenol with codeine in them that you can get in canada. youll be perfectly calm through the entire flight.

haha half of you will have heart attacks but i had a 1-sided test press of the pink, screened design version of BPIB, and i let it go to some ass who then decided not to pay for it. i acutally did trust the guy at the time. this was 2 and a half years ago though, im over it. shit was worth like 100 dollars. more on ebay probably.

i saw their last show. it was ok. alexisonfire was the opener because somethign happened to the original openers, and this was back before they were all megahuge. but all the thugcore kids were like 'wtf i hate this band. *stand with arms crossed looking angry*" it was a good time.
