Man, I handle work comp claims. I'm licensed in about 15 states. The tests get easier. Trust me. It sucks the first few times, but basically once you get concepts down, you're good. I've done this in just under 3 years.

Toby, Just have the center labels be QR codes you can scan and d/l for future releases.
(smart ass comment, j/k) (But seriously it'd be a rad idea)

Should have had Allison do it.

Awesome, I should! We haven't been there in a while. We'll be back soon though. (and probably every saturday this summer!)

Honestly I'd rather stop by the Gingerman and just give you money for a record.

Change to Chicago and I'll still put Justin as my reference and you've got a deal!

How about at Illegal Pete's? That way Virgil can buy our beers or just give us our $60.
just sayin.

when are you gonna be here?
the art institute of chicago is right by millenium park, so you'll have to hit that up. the modern wing is sweet. the national museum of mexican art is also awesome, and way way way underlooked in the scheme of attractions in the city (http://www.nationalmuseumofmexicanart.org/). easily accessible via the l.
you should check out the chicago cultural center right now, you'll be able to walk to it from your hotel. it's free, and right now there is an exhibition called morbid curiosity that shows iconography of death across the cultures of six thousand years. it's pretty damn sweet, and for free, you can't really go wrong. the depaul university art museum is brand new, right off the fullerton l stop, and has been getting a lot of attention recently from lots of publications (and i gotta rep it since i go to school at depaul/work with the museum).
reckless is a necessity, though you're probably better off going to the one up on broadway rather than downtown. you're gonna be near printer's row, where there are a bunch of cool used books stores.
some veg places i recommend (even though i'm not veg):
dragon lady lounge, at belmont and california
karen's, up on halsted in lincoln park
any number of indian places on devon
non-veg:
pequod's pizza can't be beat
hamburger mary's, in my opinion, is way better than kuma's and they brew their own beer
i'll add more when i think of some, i'm in a medicine haze right now
I love Hamburger Mary's!

I'm not sure that we did. We've been here for nearly three years - the upstairs guy has only been there for about nine months. I've attempted patience but I'm getting testy.i always say "fight fire with fire". jam louder than him. in fact let's all jam in your apartment and give him something to complain about.
Sound wars sound fun in theory but all they ever seem to do is instigate the other side to crank even louder so when we finally stop playing music, it'll feel like a night club right in the living room.
We moved out, couldn't take it.

^ I've actually read the above article before in my attempt to find means to resolve the issue and have actually followed most everything in it - thing is, the land lord feels like she has her hands tied since he's doing it during the day a lot of the time and even though she agrees that above a certain volume at any time is unacceptable, since she's not there when he does it, it's our word against his as to how loud the music actually can be. She's been able to legitly say something to him in instances where he was playing it from 1 to 4 in the morning but the day is another issue. I've lost count of how many times we've called the cops on him and at one point I did have his number but stopped speaking with him directly about it when he started to become rude and aggressive.I still say give ear plugs another shot. I sleep with them every night (my walls are paper thin at my apt and my brother's gf has cats that are noisy) and it was kinda uncomfortable at first, but you learn to deal with it after awhile. If that still doesn't work, try ear bud headphones or ear muffs that fit on the back of your head and not the top
For now, I guess we can go with that suggestion and see how it goes. It'll be cheaper atleast.
heh... Did you move into my old apt? We just moved out! PM me some details man!

Elgin, and you collect the popes? I should know you.

you were gay at 9?
I'm assuming I was born gay, so yes. But that particular story wasn't mine. I was just quoting the lyrics for "Less Talk, More Rock" by Propagandhi.
Love you Stig!

Man, I dunno, I believe. I've had some weird shit happen, that it is hard to explain. Some people say ghosts don't exist. I dunno, I just have experiences man.
The being shaken in yr sleep by hands thing is SUPER unnerving to me. That's the kind of stuff that - while fascinating - is totally horrifying. It seems like yr experience with the hands as well as the bed shaking incident motorbike wrote about are more examples of poltergeists than ghosts - THAT particular realm of the supernatural is a bit too much for me, haha.
Well I dunno. I'm not trying to be a hard ass or whatever. But in general once I face a fear, I kinda feel like I know what to expect next time. This shit used to un-nerve me, but now I'm un nerved that I 'm not!

Man, I was freaked out initially but I got used to it. Probably should freak me out more. That whole bed vibrating thing too. Haven't had that but have had a feeling like hands grabbing me in my sleep. (Again when living alone with no one else having access to my place (s) ).

Well, My story to contribute is when I was in college. I only got the dorm I was in b/c it was the only one available. No one had lived there since the last person committed suicide in there. Everyone thought I was crazy because I had taken it. It hasn't been lived in for about 5 years. Occasionally I'd see someone in my room in a hoodie, but most def not a person. I always thought it was weird, but he didn't bother me. Eventually he left, but still was weird to wake up feeling someone in there (it was a single). Dunno, I've had various encounters in random places.

see that band while you can, seems they're playing less and less frequently. Seriously doubt they'll ever break up, but I could easily see them becoming the back-burner band.

My best experience was one time I went and got some pasta dish. They left the make by dates in my bowl. Like the actual wrapper and stickers.
Basically the exchange was our bad, free food make up for it? Nah, man. But I didn't have to pay for that, so I guess I could enjoy what I ate so far?
Dunno...turned me off to that place ever since.
taking my insurance license exam tomorrow...

Most of the time it's two weeks before you can take it again. Did they give you the break down for the areas? I've had tests that do that before so it can show what you did well in and what you need to study.
