Ordered the "Foreign Lands" LP, as well as the previous TCK CD and the Adorno CD. That's another band more people really need to get into
-
I second this. Love the single but I can't find this anywhere. Why do none of the regular US distros carry this? And why did a band from California only release the LP in Denmark I believe it is?
-
I'm looking to grab Sebadoh's "Bakesale" and "Harmacy" on vinyl. If anyone is looking to part with their copies, let me know and how much you might want for it. Thanks!
-
Everyone needs to check out the vinyl version of the Groucho Marxists record. Its a great full length and I'm not just saying that because I put out the CD. More people should be paying attention to them
-
This is really unfortunate. I've ordered from Vinyl Junkie damn near 20 or more times and have never had a problem. I understand that there are sketchy labels/distros out there, but seriously, filing a paypal claim in such a short amount of time is inexcusable. Sucks to have to deal with people like that

Maybe a stupid question, but when is it time to replace the needle on your turntable? I've been noticing lately on records that are unplayed or barely played that there's a decent amount of surface noise as well as some crackling, though its not causing any skipping. I assume that this is related to the needle, but if not, does anyone have another suggestion as to what it might be. Thanks for any help in advance.

if anyone is still looking for the fire team charlie s/t 7", I still have a couple available. PM me if your interested.

love that song. The rest looks like they're trying to be all 'indie' with it though. Which isn't to say it's not good. But I'll probably pass.
^ Only song I've heard off of the soundtrack I'm not interested in this movie at all.
Adam,
Did you read the book? It was pretty good, though I agree that the movie doesn't look to be all that interesting.

Just a heads up, all the new KOD releases are up for order over at No Idea. I don't know if they're all pre-orders or what (The Measure definitely is), but they are available
-
That's pretty cool. Any idea if they'll repress Age of Octeen on vinyl as well?
-
Yup, you can get it through Green Noise. You should also pick up the Lover/Live fast die split that Douchemaster just put out.
Lover! is so awesome.
I just placed an order for all 3 of his singles.
Writing up a post on his new single that just got released, great stuff.
Yeah, I know Jay Reatard gets all the attention and praise, but I think the Lover stuff is damn near as good. I need to find a place to get the LP's for cheap. Any suggestions?

Hey,
I have a copy of the original pressing on Black vinyl, limited to a 100, that I'm thinking of parting with if the price is right (currently there's one on Ebay for 182 bucks to give an idea, though it'll probably eclipse 200 by the time the auction ends). I figured I'd give someone on here a chance to buy it before posting it on Ebay, so if anyone's interested, PM me offers and if I think its fair, its yours. Thanks1

Thanks Kev for the kind words. And yes, if you dig the band, the 7" is still available through me directly at the link above, though I only have about ten or so copies of it left for mailorder.. The songs are killer on it and will not disappoint. Can't wait for the full length Casey. By the way, how goes it?
-
Ordered one of the brown cover+T-shirt combos yesterday. I really dig the Towers LP, but from what I heard so far, might even like this more. When is this estimated to ship out?
-
i have their double LP in my distro.
I could only find the CD version
???

The shirts look great! Great band!
-
I just ordered this through RevHQ yesterday. Great band. Question: Does anyone know where their 2xLP is still available? Can't seem to find it anywhere
-
That's great news Timo. The LP's look great! Everybody should check this and the Meet me in St. Louis LP out.

Yeah, the dude Troy who runs it really takes extra care in his mailing of records. I've yet to get any records from him that were bent or damaged in any way due to Post Office mistreatment. He also runs a great distro.
-
It really is. Ordered this morning. I swear, vinyl collective is going to force me to get a second job.
-
weston is from new jersey...just sayin'
I'm pretty sure that Weston is from Bethleham, Pennsylvania, not NJ.
-
a LOT.
awesome band though.
Agreed. For whatever reason, they never seem to get their due and are criminally underrated. Still, one of my favorite early 90's Emo bands.

this is an awesome record.
Have you received the second batch of records I sent out to you yet? I'm finding the post office to be really slow right now so I wanted to check in and make sure you got them. And I'm glad you like the record.
For those interested, I still have the Fire Team Charlie 7" available at www.myspace.com/wrappedinplasticrecords or if you'd like, grab it through Vinyl Junkie, who are great people and run a great distro.

Thanks! I'm surprised at how few people get the reference...and then get real depressed that they probably don't get it because I'm old, haha
