  3. Just got back from Canterbury Records in Pasadena, Ca on Colorado Blvd and they still had some RSD stuff left from last weekend. Unfortunately due to a error paying my car insurance I had no money to drop on some albums to help anyone out on here. Figured I could do the next best thing and help anyone in the LA area. Here is a small portion of what was left:

Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory + bonus 10"

Avenged Sevenfold - Live In The LBC

Between The Buried And Me - The Anatomy Of...

    Metallica - St Anger boxset

Coheed & Cambria - Beige Demos

Judas Priest - Screaming For Vengeance

And a grip of whatever Cypress Hill LP came out.

  4. I know I'm not the first to complain in this thread, but selling stuff on here recently sucks. Too many people claiming they wanna buy stuff and giving the "I'll send you the money tonight/tomorrow/whenever" and never coming through. You hold the albums a little longer in hopes they just ran into some problems and still nothing. Try to PM them only to be ignored when you can see they've posted shit recently trying to buy stuff in other threads. I miss the old boards because everyone I dealt with came through and now all these n00bz (for lack of a better word) are killing it. I'd rather just put shit up on ebay and go through that hassle instead of deal with flakey people.

  5. they just changed the wording...

    so i'm guessing it's a slip mat.

    Fuck.

I cancelled my src order for The Changing Of Times (I missed TOCS) and bought the 2 Lp bundle with shirt and mystery 12' because I figured it was a store exclusive like that remix 10" that came with the last album pre-orders. Fuck you Merchline. I need a slip mat because i don;t have one, but the mystery LP was the big reason I bought the bundle. I guess I at least got both albums which makes me feel a little better about it...

  6. It looks like it's sold out now, the 4xLP option isn't available anymore.

Looks like it. I never thought they would sell that fast, but I'm assuming there are gonna be alot of flippers trying to cash in on their hiatus. So glad I randomly checked Absolutepunk.net on my lunch and saw the pre-order started. I just picked up the 4xLP and the cd version. Not happy about the $18 shipping but I got that "media mail discount" which knocked $7 off. Between this finally going up for pre-order and the represses of Underoath last week I'm pretty much broke.

  7. Real name:

    Jeff

    Favorite Bands:

Thrice, Saosin, UnderOath, Every Time I Die, and Alexisonfire

    What's your Facebook/Twitter/Tumblr etc.?:

    Facebook.com/shinfo13

    Hobbies (outside of record collecting):

Video Games and eating. One of the best parts of living where I do is the sheer amount of restaurants around. I love discovering new places because the hole-in-a-wall joints are often the best.

Play in a band? Run a record label? Link us!:

I have a faux-band called 80085. It's basically just me messing around on Logic and Garageband. I don't play any instruments unfortunately, but people always seem to think I look like the musician type so I get asked alot. I typically reply "Yes, I play keyboards" and gibe them one of my many fake band names. My favorites are: Jesus and The Doo-Wops, Aqua Erotica, and Anal Seepage.

Random things you want us to know about you:

I'm an asshole. At least my girlfriend tells me so. Meh...

  8. I fugured if anyone would have information about Green Flag Records this may be the best place to ask.

The only information I have ever found about the label is that they were based in Tustin and released the original version of Identity Crisis by Thrice (about 1000) before they signed to Hopeless/Subcity and re-released it. I have this original cd pressing but about a year ago i came across a promotional cassette from Green Flag and nobody seems to know anything about it. Anyone know who ran the label, if they formed another label, or just anything really?
