It's not that it's cheap. It is made of shitty components.
So would I just be better off investing into a better, more pricey record player?

I'm fairly new to collecting and using vinyl, as I received a player on Christmas. Whenever I play a record on it, it sounds tinny and empty, with very little bass. Is this a problem that is caused due to it being a cheaper player or is it something else? Here is the turntable I currently have: https://www.amazon.co.uk/1byone-Belt-Drive-Turntable-Speakers-Recording/dp/B01GJTOZ6U/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1478918548&sr=8-3&keywords=vinyl+player
Any help would be much appreciated as I love the idea of listening to vinyl, but it just isn't going to happen when streaming it sounds so much better than my record player. Thank you!
Recommended record player?

I started getting into collecting music around Christmas time, when I received a cheap record player. It does the job, but the sound is tinny and empty, and I was looking for an upgrade. My birthday is coming up soon and i was thinking about asking for a record player.
I've come down to these two systems:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Teac-MC-D800-turntable-bluetooth-streaming-Cherry/dp/B014HG9VC0/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
AND

It would be great if you could share you opinion on these systems as I do intend to start collecting CDs soon, too. This will be a permanent buy and I don't want to replace them in the near future. I am looking for a good quality of sound more than anything, not anything tinny. Thanks!
