I'm going to have to say that the day before the list was announced I met with one of the guys who ran record store day and asked him wtf was going on and why there was no list. He explained that the list is a monster now and is impossible to keep up with. There is around 400 official releases and tons of unofficial releases. It is impossible for them to keep up with the happenings. I think it's really a wait and see on what actually hits the shelves on Saturday..

Lathe is the way to go. I have a few records made as one of's for just me that are done lathe. If you have a buddy with a lathe it's cheap or free. Talk to Mike Dixon at People in a position to know....

The difference with this and other kickstarters is that he was also raising money for recording. He was completely starting from scratch. That takes a lot longer than just pressing some records.

He recorded the new appleseed cast himself. I can't see him going to someone else for these songs... In my own opinion I would wait forever for new music from any of his projects because most are quite epic. He's a perfection freak!
