  1. So I'm thinking of starting a (near) complete Epitaph collection. I'm looking to start from 1988-2001 (The Things- Pennywise- Land Of The Free?) (E-86400- E-86600).

I have about 20% on vinyl already.

I know most of the Epitaph releases are on black vinyl. Does anyone have have any advice on places to look and press info?

Any info would be much appreciated.

  2. I'm a mailman and I've got to tell you, we're not all dicks. On average, a letter carrier delivers to 450-600 addresses everyday. People that a ton of mail always have the smallest mail boxes and people who get a lot of parcels never have a safe place to leave them. If all your packages are so important, get cardboard box and put it in a safe place and write "parcels" on it. Its that easy!

We deal with the occasional hornets nest (which are the worst and if you have one on your property we do not have to deliver any mail to you. And if we get stung the owner of the property is responsible for any medical bills.). But he should not have left them on the front lawn. If you don't want to do the simple box thing, all you have to do is call the post office, ask to speak with a carrier supervisor and they will fill out a hazard/warning card that will say where you want them to be left. If it happens again, call the post master in your town. Takes two minuets. Problem solved.

im convinced my mailman is lasy and just doesnt bring things until he feels like it

That's bullshit. We have 50 supervisors, bosses and inspectors watching our every move. If we come back with undelivered parcels or mail without a reason, we're up shits creek. And the more mail we hold, the more work we have to deal with the next day. Just remember, we can't give you what we don't have.

  3. I really do like the song, but I didn't know they were reissuing it. Its just I've always wanted to own that record; for the songs and the fact of owning it. I search once in a while on ebay for it, and it's never on there, and I always see the same one in an ebay store for $250. It has to be at least six months that thing hasn't sold. So I assumed that was to pricey.

    Thanks guys

  4. I got Letdown-We're In This Alone on Brown/Black wax in the mail today.

I bought it because a friend recomended it. I've never heard them before. The label says 33rpm and it sounds real sludgy at that speed. But he said they were pretty fast so I tried it at 45. They sound great at both speeds!! I know if I checked their myspace and heard them it would solve this problem, but computer speakers crapped out. Is the label wrong? Can anyone shed some light on this?

  5. Yea that's the rarest Lotus Eaters record. He put all the pressing info right in the auction, but its at hydrahead.com as well. Also it's on 220 gram vinyl, which is kind of cool.

I used to want this, then I heard it.

Well, i really like a.turner, I heard like 3 mins of it, and thought it was ok, but do you think its worth it?
