All of the Victory records I own are extremely poor in quality. You can tell they are cheap pressings by the rough edges, I even had an Atreyu one that still had a bunch of excess wax hanging off of it. I also agree that they don't sound any different than the CD/MP3 versions, so if they are remastered for vinyl it must not be done very tactfully. So yeah, pretty much fuck Victory. Even if I do like some of their bands, I won't buy any more of their vinyl releases.

Definitely not. Junkies is far more rare than the others and ppl will pay ridiculous prices for the set just to get that one.

I listened to all the KRKs and didnt care much for them. I liked what I heard from the Tannoys more than anything else they had up at GC.

I was looking at the Rega as well but I'm unsure about it. I feel like if I'm gonna spend that much I might as well just get a used MK2.

I'm building a stereo system from the ground up and was looking at some vintage JBL monitors. I know monitors are more sensitive speakers, and was wondering if they are a poor choice because the pops on vinyl could damage them. I'm building my system primarily for playing records so if that's a concern it's back to the drawing board. Perhaps some powered PA speakers instead?

doubtful. you usually have to show ID to pick up any tickets from will call.

so after reading the fine print it turns out that the hat/ticket bundle does not include any physical tickets but rather you get your name on the guest list instead. i highly doubt they will allow those tickets to be transferable so if i can't go to the show looks like i paid $70 for a shitty snapback. great.

i don't know yet if i'll be able to make it, i might be in south africa at the time. if i'm not able to go i will likely give VC first crack at my tickets. but not the hats. i'm keeping the hats regardless.
