I got an email from Protagonist Records saying that they tried to mail an LP but was denied at the post office. I guess it might take a little more time before USPS will take in more Canadian mail.

I always use the nail file attached to nail clippers. Just a small amount of scraping works like a charm.

I have the s4's and love them. Actually just bought a pair of s4i's too cause they have a built in mic and iphone controls and since I'm freaked out about all these radiation articles.

I've got the s4i's as well. One thing that annoys me is that the cord seems really thin and cheap. I like these more than my Shure SE210s.

I'm so tempted to order Dopethrone but the possibility of getting hit by customs fees is putting me off.

I use Discogs and an Excel spreadsheet.

Whatever you use, make sure it uses the LAME MP3 encoder, which is by far the best.

For Windows, Foobar2000 and CDex work well.

For Mac, XLD and xACT are great.

Also, if you're going to encode as high 256 kbps CBR, you might as well use LAME's VBR0 (extreme variable bitrate) setting instead. It's honestly the best compression around these days. Pretty much the standard of quality.

I'd have to agree with using LAME VBR0. 320kbps is too wasteful in terms of file size.

I've been using EAC to rip audio for years. Foobar can get the job done if you have the WAV files on your hard drive and not on a CD.
