i find i'm real hard-pressed to find people that enjoy him anywhere near as much as i do.

I hear that. I love John Vanderslice, and I really feel like he does not get the recognition he deserves.

I am bummed that I still haven't been able to see him live, since every time he seems to do a show near me, it's at a time when I can't make it.

My boyfriend really digs Starflyer 59, so he ordered the colored set when the preorders went up. I haven't listened to the records yet, but the colored set just looks so awesome in person, and you even get this really neat wooden box to store the records in.

I'm going to be in Philly this weekend and was just wondering if anyone knew of any good record stores in the area.

Let Go was released, but seems to be wicked hard to come by. The only pressing info I could find online was that it was a double vinyl and 300 copies were pressed on colored vinyl put out by Squid Vs. Whale Records.

I'm a paralegal for a husband and wife who are both attorneys. My bosses treat all of us really well, and they are super laid back and understanding.

SO PISSED I missed her on Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I mean, ATHF sucks so bad, but still. It's Neko! I drove 500 miles to see her play ONE show at the 9:30 Club.

I'm with you there. I read an interview with the actor who plays Sayid. In the interview, he said that he couldn't speak for the writers and producers, but that he was under the impression that they'd go ahead with a full season of the show if the strike ended before the end of February. I'd be bummed if we only got 8 episodes instead of 16.

I know this record comes on red and black vinyl, but I'm not sure which is the 1st pressing or if there are any other colors floating around out there...

I did a google search when I was trying to buy the Minus the Bear Planet of Ice vinyl. My boyfriend was in Iraq at the time, and he is a huge Minus the Bear fan so those were waiting for him when he got back home.
