So Saturday I went on a record buy and picked up a whole bunch of great LPs Dino Jr, Black Flag, Butthole Surfers, mostly punk and indie from the 80's. Also got my hands on and Empire 698 turntable in perfect condition and a small 70's tube pre-amp. I paid $300 for everything. The guy had only one 45 that he threw in, The Primitives "The Ostrich" I had no idea what it was and he said it was early Lou Reed stuff, so I looked it up.

the one I got is in VG condition, but still a great score all around. I would have paid $300 for just the LPs. I have been on so many bad record buys in the last six months, this one made up for it.

Seeing 28 messages in my inbox, all asking me questions that are clearly answered in the listing, is indeed wasting my time. Its kind of the reason I put all the info you will need in the listing. I have no problem answering a legit question, but you ask me if the vinyl is colored, when if you looked at the photo, or read the description you would have the answer, is kind of a pain in the ass.

Because this whole week has been questions from people who absolutely refuse to read the item description and they are wasting my time.

Do people even read item descriptions anymore? I think they see the item and just decide to put 47646865754 dollars in the max and bid. In my auctions it CLEARLY states no shipping to Russia, Italy, Ukraine or Indonesia. So like 5 of my items have bids from people from these countries. Goddamn useless fuckers. ...just received and email for one of my auctions on Ebay, where the buyer asks me "charging a bit too much on shipping are you?" Shipping in the U.S. is $4 with delivery conformation. Not even accounting the price of mailer & inserts, which I ship everything in. I sent him/her a "fuck off" reply with a break down of costs and a link to the usps site. Am I being an asshole, or was this justified and this fucking bidder should just be banned form my auctions? i think thats a pretty reasonable price.

do any of you who collect BSF stuff know how many copies there are of the split with jazz mans needle with the handmade stenciled covers?

Falling Forward - Hand Me Down was also pressed on clear blue vinyl, though I have only seen one copy, the ink & dagger/Le Shock split also has a few copies on pink, i think its like 20.
