i think src gets way too much shit when they're just providing a service. i didn't hear of or see a SINGLE copy of JEW today in Houston. NOT. ONE. if it weren't for SRC and good friends I wouldn't have a copy at all. it would really piss me off to be in bfe somewhere without even one record store nearby.

they tried to throw their hat in the ring best they could. everyone simmer.

or maybe if some online store didn't misrepresent itself as a RECORD STORE then some stores in Houston could have got copies. fuck SRC.

all of this shit in this thread and I (as a participating store owner) haven't received a single email from an actual label or distributor about anything except those dumb Kozik dolls. What a giant clusterfuck again.

I have one of these and wouldn't recommend unless you're uncommonly wealthy. It's not really suited for casual cleaning. You have to be severely OCD or own a store or something where you have to clean tons of really really dirty records.

make sure you only use DISTILLED water, otherwise there may be all kinds of shit in the water that you don't want - minerals and such. also use as pure isopropyl alcohol as you can get - at least 90% for the same reason as the water.

don't use windex - the ammonia and colorant leave residue.

you need a wet cleaner or at least a nice clean cloth to get that gz dust shit off. the carbon fiber brush works best for light lint and static.

I got a copy of Flex Your Head and used the order list in there for some Minor Threats 7"s and the G.I. 7" and they never came. lame-o!
