  1. Hahaha thanks guys! Excited to see if I can pick out your answers in the results! If our company selects this idea for the project, I'll totally keep this thread updated with the ongoings if anyone is interested. Also: coconut ice cream on a macaroon sounds delicious.

We are considering partnering with a local grocery store bakery to do the cookies. I'm curious as to how crazy they'll let us get with requests for weird cookie flavors. One of the guys on my team is in a local dairy family and from what I understand, we will have the ability to customize the ice cream to pretty much any flavor we can get our hands on. Considering keeping standard flavors (vanil, choc, strawb, mint) as constants and having one whacky "flavor of the week."

Name one ice cream "Poop", but just make it some variation of chocolate and something else... I'd buy.

Oh yeah, but if anyone asks what it really is just say "it's poop, I made it myself, if you know what I'm saying" ;)

  2. Whenever I go into my HT account and try to see if my order has processed it says "Server encountered problems while processing the request. Please try again later."

Does that mean the sever encountered problems when I ordered, or it just can't retrieve that info right now?

Just now, the error didn't occur during the order.

Delete your cache, should fix it.

It's still not working, but as long as my order went through, I don't really care about tracking it. Every single time I've ordered a release on Tuesday it comes on Friday so I know when to expect it.

But +1 for your effort in trying to help me!

  3. I am thinking about waiting a few days and starting a new account. Maybe pose as a blonde lady who wants to buy it for her son. Will pay $50 and can meet asap. See if he will give "her" a better deal. Then do not show up at the starbucks or something or better yet tell him to meet "her" at a hair salon or something nearby. Then don't show up and email like an hr later asking him why he never showed up. Then attempt to "meet" again if possible. Would be so amazing.

Idk I am not good at these things or being creative, but I am now feeling like I must do something just to inconvenience him (teach him a lesson without him learning the lesson) by just being a total rude person.

Sounds like something me and my friend do, the lol's are endless if you can keep it going

  4. Email SJC Drums. I got a kit from them for basically $1200 exact. All maple shells, dark walnut stain. 22x20 kick, 12x9 rack, 16x16 floor. Sounds great and I play the latter of the two genres you're looking for. Great company to deal with.

If you want a better idea of what $1200 gets you, here's a link to what I got:

Honestly, just send them an email, they're always down to help on a budget.

Dude, some of those kits look freaking awesome. I'm more into the Alternative/Indie (and some pop) music, but the ddrum Dios ( http://www.ddrum.com/dios_m.php ) has never dissatisfied me

Oh and since you're looking for a warm tone, I would suggest to keep maple and mahogany in mind when looking for shells

  5. Capitol Records? Gotee is definitely still around, too--and beginning to press releases on vinyl. So there's a possibility they may release RK's old stuff on vinyl.

huh, I could've swore Gotee wasn't around anymore. But anyway, that's awesome that they are starting to press some stuff on vinyl. Hopefully The Anatomy of the Tongue in Cheek will get the vinyl treatment, love that whole album

  6. Let's do this.

If someone wants to buy this for around $60, I'll do it and take your money to buy the stupid fucking box set of FANSD on their webstore.

im confused as fuck, sorry. what exactly are you talking about?

He's wanting to sell or trade the Vinyl Countdown for Forget and Not Slow Down... since no one seems to want to trade he said he would sell the Vinyl Countdown for $60. He would then use that money to order the FANSD box set off Relient K's webstore

  7. Back in 2005 when Move Along came out I listened to that like nonstop. Then When the World Comes Down I thought it was alright but nothing compared to Move Along. Now Kids in the Street is out and I've only found one song so far that keeps me interested, and that's "Kids in the Street"... Also, Beekeeper's Daughter was a really bad choice for a first single. AAR needs to go back to the basics of when they started (My Paper Heart, Swing, Swing, One More Sad Song... and even my favorite: Stab My Back) as those are the ones that I think of those as the "defining" songs.

But yea, I can't justify paying $100 for this at all
