  1. I would greatly appreciate that, I ordered the MOB 7"......they sent me the 12" S/T instead :P

So I have no clue have the b-sides even sound yet :/

PS if I wanted to rip vinyl tracks could I buy a phono pre-amp w/ usb?

You could. But I have the audio technica atlp60 and I bought a cord that just lets me plug it into my computer and record that way. It's super easy and better quality then USB.

I would love to have these b-sides too! I have the album but I didn't have enough to spring for that 7" package

  2. I figured they had to be pissed. Almost all of the 'smaller' bands RJ singed got either CD releases or digital releases. Blegh.

Was RJ supposed to press the smaller bands releases, or were they specifically CD/digital deals?

i think he's talking about releasing their stuff period. from what was mentioned in a thread about the European and/or German release of the new I Hate Our Freedom album, that album has been finished for a long time and MTS was supposed to release it something like 6 months ago. i think it was originally slated for October and keeps getting pushed for some reason, as MTS has said nothing about it. obviously MTS has yet to release it at all, on any format.

MTS/Broken Rim Records are supposed to press Citizen's split with Turnover this spring. We'll see about that. Pretty skeptical, and if so I'll order from Broken Rim because I cannot bring myself to ever support MTS. Not just over this fiasco, but past orders that have all just been fucked up.

  3. So happy I was able to get a package. I feel like this band is overlooked and under appreciated by a lot of people, but bands like The Wonder Years get so hyped and kids eat it up. Don't get me wrong, I love The Wonder Years, but that being said, I think Fireworks deserves a little more credit. Gospel was one of the best albums of last year IMO.

Fireworks may get overlooked compared to the Wonder Years, but they're still pretttty hyped too. I don't think people were as receptive to Gospel though
