They did Kiss The Bottle in Normal earlier this month.
That show was amazing. Still can't believe it happened here haha

For Bloomington/Normal I would check out Dawson's Creek which is a local house show space http://www.facebook.com/dawsonscreekpunx
or Firehouse Pizza & Pub

I hate crowd surfing, but this kid is just fucking ridiculous. I would say there's quite a bit of assumed risk associated with going to a punk show (moshing, circle pits, crowd surfing).

I did this 2 years ago and it was pretty fun. I'd do it again this year.

So happy they got their stuff back. But the people who stole it sold $80,000 worth of equipment for $1,000? Wtf, people suck.

How is the age of some one relevant to how much they enjoy a band and their releases?
Have you ever met a 4 year old who likes Barbara Streisand?
What I meant is their age when a release came out. Sorry if I was unclear, but luckily Babs has been brought into this discussion.

Whoever even considers putting Underoath, mewithoutYou, As Cities Burn, or Copeland on this thread is a complete buffoon.
you were 10 years old when mwY's and Copeland's first full lengths were released.
How is the age of some one relevant to how much they enjoy a band and their releases?

Did anyone else see Joseph Gordon-Hewitt as a random street cop? I think his name is John Blake or someone but I couldn't find his name in the Batman universe.
If I had to guess it would be that he forms a personal relationship with Batman in their wanting to keep Gotham safe at any cost. Then towards the end of TDKR Bane does paralyze Batman like in the comics and he passes the role of Batman onto Blake.
Just spinning the wheels in my brain as to why Hewitt is playing what appears to be such a small role.
Who the hell is Joseph Gordon-Hewitt?

Thrice got pretty boring for me after artist in the ambulance. And they were one of my favorite bands ever. The alchemy index did have some parts that i really enjoyed though. Everything else has been pretty meh.

Glad to hear your cat is doing well. Pet illnesses/surgeries can be so stressful (and expensive).
thank you, sir. yeah, this was close to a grand. i'm glad, however, that they could perform surgery as a one-time fix (supposedly) instead of ongoing treatments for a condition.
also, they gave her a little pink bandage where her iv was, and it was the cutest thing ever.
Awwww yeah! cat pictures!

Rocky V is one of my favorite musicians of all time. Also, that mwY song is one of my favorites of theirs as well. So jealous.

So alcohol and caffeine makes people paranoid and jump out of cars? Also, Bo Rupp? Really?

I sure did! He was amazing as well. I work there so I usually go to all the shows at Firehouse.
