STÖNCÜLD
Ok so I picked this RCA up for $15 in need of some tlc. Left speaker not working easy wire solder fix, new stylus, and the cartridge is loose and a bare braided wire is loose. I cannot tell where it came loose from on the cartridge, so my question is does anyone know? I am thinking it attaches to the metal housing as a ground, or one of the poles. allenh
Probably an earth but I can't really see where it should go, possibly the brass coloured tag but that doesn't look like its ever been soldered.

Think I may just pay to have it done if I can't find an answer.
allenh
Clipped is probably the answer and the tag is missing, glue doesn't conduct very well
