garpo3000 Posted June 10, 2010 Share Posted June 10, 2010 Holy shit. Finally got to see Kay Kay and his Weathered Underground last night. Would never have gotten into these guys if it weren't for VC. What in incredible show. They sound absolutely perfect in every way. Kirks voice is just like the album in every way. A little disappointed they didn't have a trumpet player with them but they certainly made up for it. They absolutely exploded on "Birds" and "Bowie" These guys are some real musicians. It was 100% worth missing the first 2 periods of the Hawks game for that. Really hope they get around to releasing the new album soon because I'm going nuts waiting.
