justaaudial
The Taxes In Texas LP available now from these Long Island dudes featuring ex members of bands you probably don't know or remember. Fast to mid tempo punk hardcore with lots of reference to the mid 90s Wreck-age Records world, Washington DC post hardcore and even a bit of ABC No Rio stuff. (Sorry, not much Descendents anymore.) Somewhere "between Gray Matter and early Moss Icon territory with some cleaner, comprehensible vocals dropping occasional pop culture references among a whole lot of sarcasm and self-deprecation." (- Punknews) Recorded in a dingy basement of the house that appears on the cover of the record, mastered by awesome guy Don Fury. Split release from Just A Audial and Dead Broke. MP3s streaming on the link below. A few copies on orange still available. http://justaaudial.net/releases.html#JAA005 http://deadbrokerecords.com http://everythingreallysucksman.com http://myspace.com/everythingsuckstoday A recent interview with Matt from ES for a Russian zine posted on his blog: http://getintheelantra.blogspot.com/2010/09/everything-sucks-interview.html
