1. XXX The start of Dead Armor Apparel XXX

As some of you may know by now, Dead Armor Apparel is a up-and-coming clothing company inspired by the straight-edge community. Dead Armor Apparel is fronted by longtime designer, Wes Edge.

Wes has done a great deal of design work with us over the last year, and is currently involved with some of our recent releases, such as: COMPOUND, REVIVER & DEAD HEARTS. 2. ANCHOR has announced they will be releasing album titled “Recovery” the LP will see the light of day this summer through REFUSE records. The CD version will be released on Let it Burn Records. They will be seen touring Europe with OUTRAGE in support of the record May/June of this year.

3. SOLDIERS and REVIVER pre orders are almost sold out and wont be up much longer (about another week). We hope to have them all shipped out within a couple weeks. Don’t forget not to late to pick one up and enter to win a test press (every one who orders either pre order has a chance)

4. ADDED TO THE DISTRO THIS WEEK

So a distributor (I won’t mention names) we had been dealing with sent a return. Normally this would bother me but in this case I am happy to get a handful of out of print vinyl from DEAD HEARTS and RUST BELT LIGHTS. How they couldn’t sell them amazes me since they sold out fast almost everywhere. The DH record was a 1 time pressing of 500, never to be pressed again. The RBL 7” sold out very fast and we got back a couple of each color. I wouldn’t sleep on this if you want one, they won’t last long.

CRIMINAL ELEMENT “Guilt as Charged” LP (180g Vinyl, Import)

Featuring members of Suffocation, Misery Index and Ex- Dying Fetus. 100x Better and more Brutal than the previous CD! Also, includes guest vocals from John Gallagher (Dying Fetus Gutturals) & Jason Netherton (Ex-fetus, Misery Index Highs).

Comes on heavyweight black 180g vinyl with a gatefold cover. Import from Czech Republic.

DEAD HEARTS “All Good Things Must End (Live @ CBGB’s)” 7 inch (Red Vinyl, Last Copies Ever)

Pressed one time only at 500 copies, this live 7" was taken from a show at the legendary CBGB's (known for its incredible sound system that translates well to live recordings). Dead Hearts churned out releases for labels like State Of Mind, Ferret and Reflections, bringing a rocking, modern hardcore sound combining American Nightmare, Bane and The Suicide File.

The only reason these are in the store is because a distributor did a return. These are on Red Vinyl. Once they are gone that is it. Only 5 in stock

FLOWERS FOR WHORES “Another Rome Falls” 7 inch (Import)

Discordance, melody, and bloodied precision are found here, belted out in equal measure. Straddling the lines of tight knit metal and melodic hardcore, Flowers for Whores weave a terrifying tapestry that adheres to no strict rules but achieves inspired cohesion none the less. Loneliness, despair, anger, and beauty are seated comfortably side by side in this convergence of the demonic and angelic. Import from Czech republic.

GRAVE MAKER “Bury me at Sea” LP (Picture Disc, Import)

This is a 500pcs limited European picture LP re-press from Czech Republic. A lot can be said about a band that plays more than 100 shows in the first six months of their existence. Look for the northwest natives in your town before the end of 2008 supporting their debut, "Bury Me At Sea." The full-length effort was produced by Roger Cameron (The Warriors, No Motiv) and features guests including Andrew Neufeld of Comeback Kid and Rick Jimenez of This Is Hell and Soldiers. This has very fancy packaging including a Dye Cut Sleeve.

Long awaited vinyl from manic fastcore thrash heroes, Lahar. This is a import from the Czech Republic.

This is a Import from Czech Republic. Compiles their earlier work released on: Ouroboros 12" EP, ANS/Seasick split 7", Awakening 10" EP, Right To Assemble vol. 2 12" compilation and features two brand new tracks.

TIGERS JAW “Spirit Desire” 7 inch + Digi (2 Colors in Stock)

Available on Gray or Pink Colored Vinyl. Spirit Desire finds this young-yet-incredibly-accomplished Scranton, P.A. band harnessing all the elements that made its 2008 Self-Titled full-length so unforgettable and improving on them tenfold. Likewise, the quintet has tightened its songwriting chops and injected a touch of darkness, exhibiting a real propensity for exploring new structures and dynamics.

Of course, some things never change; the enveloping buzz of the guitars sets our blood boiling, the rhythm section pounds a hypnotic beat through our skulls and warm keys wash over Spirit Desire in waves of fuzzy sound. Tigers Jaw’s penetrating melodies are still more contagious than an airborne virus and the harmonies give us those sweet, sweet roller coaster highs. Yet none of it would sound so memorable without the band’s subtle restraint and its ability to create tension and excitement in such a short amount of time. Spirit Desire never pulls its punches – it just keeps you guessing when and where those punches are going to land.

Each copy of Spirit Desire will include a free mp3 download code for all the songs, including a bonus fourth track that does not appear on the vinyl.

They play fast and gritty hardcore for fans of early This is Hell. They broke up as soon as the record came out, if they didn‘t this record would of took off. It was recorded with Dean at Atomic (TIH, MPB, SOIA) in NY. Funny though later on members went on and joined SHOOK ONES and BLACKLISTED so that’s kind of cool. I have some posters still, I will toss one in as long as I still have some.
