latterdan Posted August 1, 2011 Share Posted August 1, 2011 Hi all, me (http://writinginbasic.co.uk) and the lovely Biff (of Time Travel Opps http://www.timetravelopps.co.uk) have teamed up to put out Derby youngsters Papayér's first ep on cd-r. It's limited to 50 copies and all the artwork is handmade and printed by ourselves/the band. It's cracking stuff so give it a shot! They also recorded a session for my website earlier in the year which can be viewed here http://writinginbasic.co.uk/Livesessions/view/Sessions-Snug-4-Papayer (if anyone wants a higher quality download then give me a shout! I should have copies for myself this week but in the meantime you can download/listen to it at their bandcamp http://papayer.bandcamp.com A vinyl release would have been ideal but the band wanted copies to sell at recent gigs etc. Sorry for the spam! If you want higher quality versions of the session tracks then I'll put up a link when I get home from work as I think the tracks on bandcamp are transcodes from 256kbs mp3's.
