I'm personally under the opinion that a proper 140 gram pressing is as good sounding as a 180 gram, and that a 2xLP should be in a gatefold whenever possible. Given the choice between the two, I'd lean towards Option 2.

If given the choice between releasing a 2xLP album on the following two ways, what would be your preference? Option 1) A 2xLP 180gram, with a single pocket jacket. Option 2) A 2xLP 140gram, with gatefold jacket. Per the release budget, only one option can be chosen. Let your opinion be known!
