hipsterasfolk
So I've been tinkering of the idea of pursuing this for dorm/condo life (helps drown out the GF ) I've been researching several ideas such as... Aux input transmitter or Bluetooth compatible receiver that would do. Has anyone pursued this idea or use it?
ajxd
This is a horrible idea.
hipsterasfolk
on that note I'll just stick to what I have. Just was wondering an alternate to having speakers. Headphone Amp w/ long headphones then?
ajxd
Whatever type amp you're using doesn't have one?
chubbler108
I don't know if I'd say this is a horrible idea if it's your only way of listening. Although it does kind of defeat the purpose of listening to true analog. I think at this point it might be easier to listen to an iPod or CDs than trying to wirelessly transmit your vinyl signal. You would need to convert the analog signal coming out of the preamp to digital, somehow transmit that, then have a wireless receiver on the other end to plug into your headphone amp or receiver. hipsterasfolk
Yea, I was just twiddling the idea of having a blue tooth receiver that would put out from my preamp. I got a Pro-Ject phono box II
