I was curious as to whether or not I could safely use the gain knob on my Art DJ pre II to change the overall volume in my rig as opposed to buying a passive volume control or mixer? Changing the overall volume is fairly difficult as I have active speakers with two separate volume knobs on the back... My system runs as follows: Denon DP 300f > Art DJ pre II > Mackie MR5 Active monitors I hope this makes sense...Thanks in advance!
