The awesomely weird and awkward feeling moment where this thread makes you aware that Suicide Machines did infact do the song Give for the brink soundtrack and you spent the last 15 years wondering who the hell did that song. I second a pressing of anything Sucide Machines. Or anything from Danzig, Fastball or Sparta That wasn't or hasnt been pressed or repressed in a while.

  2. fucker!!! I assume it was the only one? Asshole who worked there lied to me!!

the manager was the one there today. Good guy. Apparently some dude from Brooklyn set 3 aside and bought them all. They got one in yesterday (mine) Was it the indie looking dude with the side comb and beard? if so I had class with him and he is into wax and he was probably trying to score it himself.

"Bought it and went to my car to rub one out"

    Jesus.

standard procedure for any record score I make.

  3. I was scared to even open mine from what I read in this thread, but it's one of the best sounding records I own. no surface noise, super dynamic, and it's mastered loud as hell. sounds like my copy is a rarity though.

I agree. I bought mine at hot topic about a month ago and it sounds just fine. And like it's been mentioned before it's loud as all hell. Only complain I had is the way the edges were cut, but eh. No big deal. As long as it plays im okay.

  4. I would love quiet mouth loud hands and would definitely buy it if you got it pressed. I love damiera and m(us)ic is one of my favorite records. I'm hoping hidden hospitals' ep gets pressed too eventually.

If you do m(us)ic me and a group of my friends will definitely get it. That album played non stop our senior year. On trips to the beach, or driving to boston to dick around. If you did variants, I would scoop every color. Twice.

  5. I like this better how you have it instead of having it stand up tall ways like the picture at ikea. Would you recommend this unit after putting it up and seeing it in use?

Highly. Everyone else suggested it so I went to grab one. Super sturdy. Cheap for the build. Easy to assemble. Light to move. 10/10 on the expedit. I like the gloss red too. But the matte finishes are cheaper.

  6. Ok. That is far from optimal. If you are only using 2 channels, you only need two speakers. If you are using 5.1 sound, you need to speakers spread out. Left, center, right in the front, surround left, surround right in the back. Sub somewhere in between.

Don't stack speakers on top of speakers. Don't stack speakers on top of the amps. Separate the electronics out. You have the room!

Yeah I am using the 5.1. Im probably going to spread out the speakers tonight when im out of work. You'd be surprised but I have little room on the sides of the expedit. I might just go only dual chanel and have the sub on as well, since I don't really use that unit for anything else than listen to music. Any suggestions?

  7. Your photo isn't clear. Do you have a tower on top of an amp on the left side? On top of a sub on the right? Are those a separate speaker on top?

Yeah its my dad's old sony unit. The amp is a 6 disc changer and has 2 tape decks built in. With the radio reciver at the top (thats to the left) and then a sub and speakers on the right. If im correct this is a surround sound system and I just havent had a chance to run the wires to the other end of the room to plug the small speakers in there.
