Used Vinyl: Coheed and Cambria,Alkaline Trio,Propa
hackman replied to a topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I can assure you I am not an ebay seller. I have sold maybe 3 things on ebay my entire life. Between working here and at my guitar shop, I have no time to be dealing with ebay. Which is why I did it through our store. Again, thanks to everyone who has taken the time to look at my records for sale. I hate to get rid of these but I just got back from the fest with Only Thunder and our van broke down right before we left and it was not cheap to fix. That is why I decided to sell some of these. I know some of these prices are crazy, but I just based it off what I've seen them go for. It's not gonna kill me if I don't get rid of some of these. Hope everyone has a good weekend! -

This the first pressing. Before cobraside repressed it as a 2xLP. This is a single LP. I have yet to see it anywhere in a very long time. -

Hey everyone! Thanks for checking out my used stuff. I know a lot of these seem expensive but I've spent the last two days doing research on how these have gone on auctions and what not. I came up with these prices and they are all somewhat lower that what a lot of them went for. I decided to sell them to the VC customers as opposed to someone on ebay. You might be able to find some of these records, but you won't be paying much more or less for them. Plus it helps out the VC store as well. Since xmas is coming up, maybe someone will get a really cool rare record for xmas this year. One year I received at Metallica box set with all the good albums on 2xLP in a leather bound box set that was foil stamped. Best present I think I've ever gotten. Thanks again. Justin/VC -

It is a set neck, the same way gibson does their guitars. The body is alder, the top is ziracote, the neck is maple, the fretboard is ebony. Make you sure you come say hi at the fest and you can at least play it for awhile. Maybe you will win! -

It's a JB. I usually use Invaders but this time I wanted to try something different. Seems the JB has a little more clarity but the Invader has more balls. You can see all the other ones I've made at http://www.hacklguitars.com -

The Fest/Only Thunder/Harvest Of Hope news!
hackman posted a topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Hey everyone. Just letting you all know that we(Only Thunder) are entering rocky mountain recorders studio at the end of the month to record 4 new songs! We have been working really hard at fine tuning everything so that these songs will be better than everything off the album. We could not be more excited. Things are crazy in Only Thunder land these days and more news will come once things are set in stone. Also, next saturday at 3 kings is the most important show of the year. At least for me. We are playing with The Archive, The Great Panic, and Espirt De Corps to raise money for Harvest Of Hope (http://www.harvestofhope.net) . A very small portion of this money will go towards materials to build a guitar for the annual fest in Gainesville, Florida (http://www.thefestfl.com). This guitar will be raffled off while we are down at the Fest and 100% of all the money raised will also be going to Harvest Of Hope. Also, we will be running the Vinyl Collective booth at the fest as well. Come say hi if you are going to be there. If you live in the Denver area, please make an effort to come down to the show Saturday August 22nd at 3 Kings Tavern for such a good cause. Thanks again for all the support these past few years. -Justin/Only Thunder -
Yes it's true I am gambo, the gay rambo. My favorite bands are brokencyde, and attack attack. I am putting out a brokencyde/attack attack split 7" out this year on "my co-workers can suck it" records.

I pack up 99% of the records that leave this warehouse. If for any reason you are not happy with the job I've done then by all means feel free to email me [email protected] I am a collector too. I order stuff all the time. I know exactly how important it is to have to record or 7" come in good condition. Music is my life and always will be. If it's not putting in my 40 or more hours a week here, I'm putting 20 to 30 hours at my guitar shop. If I'm not doing that I'm at band practice, playing shows, or spinning records at some shit bar getting wasted. So please believe that I truly do care about the quality when it comes to the records you all purchase. The only funny thing I do is send kleenex with cry baby band orders. If you don't believe me then feel free to fart my dick out. Love you all! -Justin/VC

That would be sweet. Those guys are great. I finally got to hang out with them in vegas a few weeks back. I'm really stoked to hear their new record. If it were up to me, we would tour with every band we loved but hey, it's not a perfect world. Hopefully we'll make it out to boston sometime soon. -

What if I fedex you $100 and five cheeseburgers? What's it cost to travel anyway? Also, if you ever make it out here, drinks are on me. Its all gas, food, and shelter expenses. Our tour is short, with short drives. Therefor we won't have to spend too much out of pocket. None of us can afford to be gone for much longer at the moment. But I'm sure in the near future we'll make it work so that we can get out to the coast. -

Ha! when our shitty band can afford to make it out there, we'll be there. But by all means feel free to come to denver anytime. I promise you'll never want to leave because you'll have too much fun.
