If I find a Deja Entendu, I'll buy it and sell it to someone on here for $300. No less.
My shopping list is pretty small this year. I'd like The Front Bottoms/GDP split, PBTT 7" and possibly E&A.

The 3rd song, "Neck" I think is the best song on this album.

I got my copy today. Little bummed that the records were shipped inside the jacket because there's a seam split. It got pretty dinged up on the corners and spine from not being packaged up well. The large flaps were hardly touching and the sides were bowed out, so the contents weren't completely protected. "You Will Eventually Be Forgotten" is in perfect shape. Kinda weird how that happens.
Sounds FANTASTIC though. Really happy to have this in my possession.

I could walk down the street and buy a van right now that would get me across the country and back for $2000 or less. This is what I'm saying. Are they buying a brand new fucking van, traveling in style? What happened to 5 person bands packing into a fucking hatchback, sticking their equipment into a trailer, and actually being rad?
Also, a lot of this energy I'm giving you guys is just because I'm trying to get amped up to argue my case with our regional manager about getting a raise. I'm not as pissed about this as I sound...but it does bother me to an extent.
So what? They don't want to spend $2k on a 15+ year old van with ~200k-300k miles on it and have to keep putting money into it. $10k isn't going to get them a brand new van. Browsing through my craigslist, it seems like the newest they could get would be about a 2008 with ~50k miles on it. At least then, they won't have to have the whole thing checked out every few months just to keep it functioning.

$10k isn't even that much for a van.

@eggnog
I got the whole album early from the subscription.
@thoughtsky
I meant the first EP. The split songs are fantastic, too. I've been listening to the album this morning. I'm on track 10, and it sounds fantastic. However, I have been catching myself hearing and not being engaged in listening if that makes any sense. The album is pretty long at 42 minutes.

In other news, it takes 8 days to mail a record from Michigan to Minnesota...
I listened to this album yesterday and it's pretty good. I think their EP is better, but I'll have to listen to this a few more times.
-
I'm really surprised that it has taken 8 days for this package to travel from Michigan to Minnesota. I'm not even sure if it'll go out for delivery today, so possibly a total of 9 days from Michigan to my house. Takes less time to get records from California!
Oh, USPS.

Mine was in and out in 14 minutes. Perhaps this is a sign of the apocalypse?

My band just released our EP, Sycamore Street:
-
Can't help you there, but a tab book for I'll Be The Tornado is coming soon.
-
I got a shipping update for my NSR sub the other day. Still pretty stoked.

My package departed Okemos, MI yesterday and arrived in Warrendale, PA today. I live in Wisconsin. Literally right next to Michigan. The USPS is a weird place, man.
I've never seen it before, but there's a few places (Jersey City, Bell Gardens, somewhere in Iowa I think) around the US were Media Mail and I believe Parcel Post get processed. This must be one of them. I live in Minnesota. Would have made way more sense to send it west, but whatever. There's a method somewhere.
Mine departed Warrendale three days ago. It'll probably arrive in Minnesota tonight.

I don't mind them on albums, but they're dumb on a split.

Have Mercy/Somos split:
Kinda bummed that the B-side label isn't Somos. No numbers this time around.
-
I got a generic email from PayPal "Details about your order" like a week ago. It should be here probably today or tomorrow.
-
Figured I would show you all a new picture of my pedalboard. I traded my HoF for a Soul Food, so the LPB-1 miiiight change.
It used to be more fun and colorful...
-
They weren't rawk and roll enuff.

Stream the split here:

This got me amped for more new Somos.

^ You definitely should.
A couple weeks ago I bought this thing called a Humble Bundle and it had 12 Star Wars games in it for $12, so I've been playing Star Wars Empire at War: Forces of Corruption a lot lately. Ahhh, nostalgic gaming.
-
The evil within.
Terrifying.
Speaking of difficult games, holy shit I raged so hard playing that game the first week I got it and haven't touched it in a month. The intensity is ridiculously draining.

I can't believe it's page 3 already and there have been zero jokes about "Macaulay Culkin's new 7-inch".
- "I don't want anything to do with Macaulay's 7-inch"
- "I think Macaulay could get arrested for letting a 16-year-old put out his 7-inch"
etc.
edit: page 4 apparently, even.

What the hell is wrong with you people?!?!?!?!?!?
The order for starbursts definitely goes like this:
Lemon > Cherry > Strawberry > Orange
