Did anyone notice the jump in price for this album? I bought this album when it came out for well under $20, was just going to pick it up for a buddy and looked on amazon to find it was at $42. What gives with that?

Can anyone tell me what the difference between this and the Sippin Time RSD release is? Is the content the same only different packaging? 

Yeah I'm not too sure where he's coming from/asking but SRC licenses the music to be pressed...and then gets it pressed and sells it?

They also work as a retail distributor for other albums as well.

Generally they aren't that cheap but Based On a True Story didn't sell as well as expected, so they marked it down.

Also I can't guarantee any of that is right, but that's my understanding.

Question answered. As for my cheap comment, it was in regards to a flash sale they had a while back. I was trying to see if what they are selling is the first line out or if its stuff they are being licensed to repress.

Could someone explain shopradiocast to me? Do they just hand repressing's and what not or are they an outlet for a label to release an album on vinyl through. I ask because I bought some stuff through them and saw their logo on the inside. (The Starting Line - Based On A True Story) It was crazy cheap so I picked it up and saw the logo and that got my wheels turning. Are these guys just reissuing albums and that's why they're cheap or was it through SRC that the album was always released this way? Hopefully Im asking this clearly enough.

When I saw those pictures I immediately thought of those shots during the Walking Dead on the highway. And wasn't that all taking place in Georgia as well? Maybe this polar vortex is the first step in the direction of the zombie apocalypse.

I would have to agree with that. My wife got me the limited edition release of Neck Of The Woods. Had tons of exclusive things inside like personal photos and handwritten lyrics. I would have to say that their creativity will most likely spill over to this release as well.

Not really a big fan of the 7 inch box set in general. Seems very clear cut to be a $$$ move. But for those that are into collecting or are a completest I'm sure this will be very well done. I do want those two new tracks however. Wish this was released as an LP or double LP.

If anyone uses an app to post photos in a message board from their Iphone, woujld they mind sharing? Wondering if anyone happened to have one thats pretty easy to use. Ive already dl two and they both seem to be filled with a bunch of steps.

Just saw this on twitter, how many versions of the cover is there? This looks like the one advertised but I thought the red and black was only available in the 50 (which turned into 100) limited release.

got mine today, kinda annoyed that i ended up with such a high number, i ordered VERY early on, I should've had single digits for sure

also it's very basic, just a chipboard sleeve with the logo screened on, no insert or anything, vinyl also doesn't look like the rendered image on the merch site

This is correct, and there is a complimentary print titled "so stop her stop her this is killing me", but it was sold out when I ordered mine. I'm trying to find one to hang next to that one.

Whats with th eold people on the East Coast driving their cars through the front windows of Trader Joes? That makes two now. One in NJ one in NY. Acts of geriatric terroism. Crazy.

On merchtable, it gives the vague 'week of the 18th'. Worst case scenario (at their word), Merchtable shipped it on Saturday the 23rd. Which really means it sat until Monday, the 25th. That was Thanksgiving week, so all usps shipping would effectively shut down Thu-Sat. So it wouldn't have arrived until this week, any way. But somebody got impatient, and we now know that there was a delay. Maybe the records didn't get to the label. Or maybe some got sent to Matt for the tour he just left on, but the rest didn't get sent to Merchtable. Who knows? But this instant gratification, "I just ordered this record, why isn't it here yet" crap really needs to stop.

Im not looking for instant gratification. Just what I paid for when they say Ill have it. They say they havent even received them yet, so my main gripe is why not send an email out saying so that all. Im dropping it. If its still not here in another two weeks then Ill gripe.

Ive been thinking of heading to southern Jersey next Friday to see Matt play. How have the shows been for anyone whos attended?

I just finished wrapping and gift bagging all of my Christmas gifts.. pretty happy to have gotten that out of the way, even though I again realized I spent way too much money.

But your done which is awesome. My wifes presents are hiding in the garage where she cant find them and where I dont have to think about wrapping them.

ugh, I just got a car actually worth putting a remote starter in and im too poor for that shit now!

Super drain on the funds. Not just for the unit installed, but now ill be running the car a bit more.

It has a kill switch on it, that as soon as you open the doors kills the engine. So you have to restart the engine once you get in it after remote starting it. Kind of annoying.

Im reminded every morning I wake up and its not cold enough to even use. So painful.

I was excited for a nice warm day off today only to find it was raining too. Cant win.

Cold weather would be welcomed on a side note. I had a remote start put in October and have yet to really need to use it. Again, cant win.

Not really sure how to respond to that. Uh thanks for not letting us know? Maybe this item will come in before the next album. Last time I use these guys for anything, no matter the premium offered.

My first Music Industry (called Entertainment Industry here) class wraps up on Monday with our exam. Our final project was a 4 page paper, that as long as you had the minimum of 4 pages and 5 sources you got a 100, no questions asked. To get an A in that class I have to make a 92 on this last exam, so I've been studying a good bit today for it. 

 

^ But Nicky's sounds really fun, hopefully as I advance throughout the Entertainment courses we get to do things like this.

 

The only really cool thing I've been able to do was volunteer at the tobyMac a couple weeks ago.

what are you hoping to do with a degree in "Music Industry" after school? (just curious)

Had a half way decent temp in NJ today. Sucks having a 15 month old who wants to go outside but its so cold you have to turn and come back in because his face is turning red from the wind and cold. Not to mention the tedious process of gearing them up to go out. 

Probably delayed waiting on the additional 50 sleeves, I would hope this isn't the actual case though and they would push out orders as they were received.

Still havent received this from Merchtable. The confirmation email said it would be shipping the week of Nov 18. Even if it was shipped midweek of Nove 18th, thats still something like 10 days plus. The confirmation email stated that it would be 2 - 6 day shipping. Ill have to write MT an email (and watch as this will show up on my doorstep tomorrow). I just want to hear this album already!
