  1. I don't know what's the big deal about that, anyone who owns a clear or colored vinyl can see that they have a tendency of generating more static than regular black vinyl...that, and clics and pops are more noticeable...therefore I'm not too fond of clear or colored vinyl. Too bad that the first press of this album was clear.
  2. The Scandinavian version is 140 gr without any doubt, so it isn't that heavy after all...so I wonder how thin is the red edition?? Also, do you have any static issues with the red edition? Because, my clear version is charged with static every time when I play the album! I'm assuming this is due: 1.- the vinyl is clear, not black, and 2.- it comes inside a paper sleeve, which causes more static therefore attracts more dust resulting in more tics...and I do have a carbon fiber brush but in this case it seems that it doesn't help much!
  3. 666 spins would be even better for this release! I have noticed that clear vinyl produces more static issues, anyone who can comment on this? And by the way,, good album indeed!
  4. Ok, just received mine today from Hotstuff.se It looks good, but I regret paying 50 usd for it, as it isn''t as heavy as the seller told everyone who pre-ordered it, just in order to ask for additional usd $ 10 due to "additional weight". The lp was pressed at 140 gr. Besides, the vinyl is clear...and actually there is a pre-order for a black vinyl coming out these days...damn... Does anyone knows here the differences between clear vinyl and black vinyl in terms of sound and longevity??
  5. And that Year Zero 10'LP, what does contain besides that song???
  6. Let us know when you receive your copy from hotstuff. I haven't received mine either and I'm kind of worried now... And now that you've listened to the LP, how does it sound when compared to the CD?
  7. Hello Jack, did you know that your copy wwould come with the signed booklet? Because I've ordered this clear LP from hotstuff.se and paid US$50 for this damn thing. The description didn't say a thing about any additional booklet, though! Hey, how does the LP sound after all?? Have in mind that this record is over 48 min playing time, and I'm afraid it could sound flat and compressed!
  8. No, neither the US nor the european versions have that booklet, Only the Scandinavian /Swedish edition. And yes, Swedish stores are taking advantage of this, increasing their prices beyond any kind of control: from $30 to $46 in just one week... the regular version-that is, the amazon version /european versions look like this:
  9. What's the total weigth of that thing? When i ordered from hotstuff.se they wanted to charge $10 additional because "it was too heavy".. Besides...was this pressed in 180 gr???
