  1. I've got two AWESOME ones.

First, my Crosley had a wobbly platter, so I thought it would be a good idea to jam a cloth in between the platter and the casing of the player. The gears that spin the platter caught on to the cloth and pulled the "stylus" across the record, destroying it.

Second, my first record was "No Devolucion" by Thursday. It has a side D etching. I couldn't understand why it wouldn't play.

    Awesome.

I did this with one of my La Dispute records (whichever album had the pressing with the etched d-side)

    never again...

  2. I recommend you do some research before asking for things that don't really exist.  They only made 250 of their self-titled so far.  So good luck on that one.  You obviously know about A Lesson In Romantics.  And they just released their new album which I think has some different variants of LPs.  Good luck on your search for that self-titled, though.

  3. I have a Doors album I found at a classic rock store near Cleveland and it was $50.00.  However I can't seem to find anyinformation on it on the internet.  It is titled Roadhouse Blues with the picture of a sideview of the morrison hotel building.  The spine claims it's from madison square garden and it's a low quality live recording.  However the little things I can find about it make me think it's quite rare.  If there's anyone that can be of assistance I can upload a picture of it.
