WHAT MODEL OF TURNTABLE IS IT?!?! I don't know. It's in my house in kent right now and I'm not there. It's at least 20 years old.

I've already read a lot of this thread. My question isn't what turntable should I get. But would it be ok to get a new neddle/cartridge or should I get a new preamp or what.

Right now I have a really old "audio-technics" record player and receiver/amp. Should I get something new? or just change the needle/cartridge? What should I do about a preamp? I don't want to spend too much money. Let me know what you think. Thanks Jeff
