I found an OG version of this album at an antique mall and passed on it not knowing what it was and have regretted it ever since.

yeah, i already got tricked into a lame gimmick album by them once before. Remember the super fancy lenticular album covers for whales and leeches? 

I went with the clear with splatter because I thought it looked way better than the other ones and I know that clear with a splatter usually looks awesome. The butterfly thing seemed like a gimmick and I've heard of sound quality issues with split color vinyl like this before. People said you could hear a noise as the colors changed. Also I agree on blowing fat wads of cash on Boris albums this year, I go the NO LP which isnt shipping from Japan for a while, I got the Phenomenons Drive repress, I got the Boris X Zoa album, The Boris - Boris melvins cover single, and I went ahead and ordered 1985 but I'm still waiting on that to ship from their store when Japan starts shipping to america again. Still waiting on the Absolutego and Amplifier Worshipper represses later this year. Supposedly they are also recording another new album with Michio Kurihara as well.

I like light in the attic so I bought it from them. Who the fuck cares about 8 bucks in 30 years when I'm dead and my kids throw all my records away.

Well,  they arent going to send me a new cover because they sold out of them and did not print any extras. They implicitly trust that all the post offices of the world and fedex wont damage any of their records and they "usually don't have a problem with them."  I'm so glad I went in on this and paid 40 bucks in shipping to have my record packaged shittyly with no bubble wrap and 1 thin layers worth of cardboard sitting directly against the record sleeve that will in no way be easily damaged. Fuck this shitty record label.

So the people who shipped this sent in in the flimsiest mailer ever and the cover has a huge chunk ripped on the bottom and the spines cracked. Be careful about buying this.

There's an indie exclusive version of love and Evol that's a clear with orange a/b clear with blue c/d. You have to buy it from thirdman though.
