  2. Thanks for the links! I have seen some of those while searching for help on this problem. So, by seeing the video, would you know what the problem may be, or what part I would need?

We have a Sony PS-X6 that sat unused for about 10 years and the we got into vinyl again and started to use it again a month ago. 10 years ago it was working perfectly, when we brought it out to test it again, there was a sound inside that sounds like gears grinding and the record player does not play at a constant speed on 33rpm. (sometimes it does, but most of the time it does not) When playing 45s though it normally plays at the correct speed. (yet sometimes it does not).
