Went to the Isles game, seems like they find a new way to blow it every game I see. Going again on Tuesday, hoping for a new coach behind the bench. Avs with a great win tonight, going to watch the game rerun on gamecenter because I didn't get a chance to live. 

These guys are great

People are selling em for like 50 bucks + shipping on ebay. Also seeing the HT Orange Juturna on ebay for 60 bucks like a sort of preorder. 

I'm just sort of getting into this band and bought OLG & Juturna because I know that if I do fall in love like all my friends I will be smacking myself in the head for not buying these when I had the chance.

Looking back on this I was probably just a little mad I couldn't get the deal. Stuff does happen, I'm sure they weren't trying to screw the people trying to buy this particular record. Just an initial paranoid thought.

I think we can confirm the price hike initially was to prevent buyers from using the $1 shipping 

 

That was my initial thought too. Fuck it though, if that's the case it's their loss. I was going to grab TBDM's Deflorate also, but indiemerch has it cheaper & i'm not getting $1 shipping so I'm only grabbing All We Know and picking up Deflorate a different time from indiemerch. 

I wonder if a ton of people are buying this for 50 bucks right now. I'm absolutely holding off until this (hopefully) gets resolved. 

Avs got smoked & Isles with their most embarrassing 3rd period of the year blowing a two goal lead. I really do not understand how Cappy still has a job right now. 

One of my favorite Opeth records. I want this so bad, just have to get my funds in order and figure that all out.

it depends on how often you play your records on your ion Audio Technica is a better option! It seems like ion is just as bad as Crosley Record players

 

Yeah, I haven't heard much good about Crosley's at all. 

 

Coming from another (unfortunate) LP 60 owner, I feel like if the player destroyed records, it wouldn't be in production. Especially since the same company also makes higher end tables that are quite well spoken of by members here.

 

Yeah, I think I'm gonna hold off on getting something of that caliber even though I'm sure it's fine. Going to try and save some cash and spend like 200-300 bucks minimum.

I have records that I got from my dad that he would play on some piece of junk player while he was fixing cars in the garage. So, on top of the turntable, they were stored in said garage,, throughout every season of the year and were often handled with greasy hands. They still sound fine. Records are more durable than quite a few of the folks here seem to think. Your records will be fine.

 

Do you figure I need a new table ASAP or will playing records for a couple more months on this thing not be the end of the world? 

Yeah, they are. The first problem is that there's no way to adjust VTA, tracking weight, or cartridge alignment, so you can easily and unknowingly degrade record grooves, especially if tracking weight is way too low.
