  1. Damn you guys are fast and supportive to boot. Kudos on all fronts once again to the Vinyl Collective community. 3. Well said. Thank you. And I am not sure if I expressed it properly above-but what I think is very cool is that we were able to present the overwhelming public demand for the meth blue color vinyl to the powers that be and bottom line, late or not-they listened. So the community and fans played an enormous role in making the blue meth variant a reality which as a fan myself I think is very, very cool that you guys were able to speak so loudly and have your voices heard. Moving forward hopefully we can situate things in a manner where we try to make a very concerned effort to implement what fans want into future releases.
  4. Absolutely incorrect. The reality is that we took note of the overwhelming public demand for "blue meth vinyl" and presented that to the owners of the Breaking Bad license. Only at that juncture were we granted clearance to do so when previously we did not have the freedom to do so. All of your collective feedback was certainly used in making a "blue meth vinyl"edition a reality. Folks, it is important to remember when you are handling a licensed release and especially one that is a big as Breaking Bad is that every single aspect-artwork,what images from the property are used and how they are used, placements of logos, where the record is pressed, vinyl colors, every bit of text in the record and even marketing info has to be approved be the license owner, so it is not as simple as "just do this or that".
  5. It would not be wise to speak so bluntly yet be so incorrect. We do not have extra jackets on hand so therefore we can not provide replacement jackets at the current moment, however, we are currently working out a drop shipment situation of extra jackets from our manufacturer which needless to say does not happen over night and speaking very frankly we are waiting to hear if this can actually be done. Much like some of you are waiting for answers in regards to that issues so are we. Anyone who we have been in touch directly and those who provided the details we have kindly asked for (full name, order number, and photos of damaged records) we are certainly doing everything in our power to see that we can obtain replacement jackets. Mind you, this is something that we are not obligated to do and being a lifelong record collector, well over 20 years myself, I can personally attest to the fact that most companies won't ever do that let alone consider it, however, we are trying to make arrangements to do so to keep you fine folks happy and your collections looking snazzy.
  6. Pink copies will start shipping this coming week. We are awaiting the arrival of the limited numbered certificates. We will post here when pink copies start shipping. White copies have already started to ship.
  7. If anyone is looking for a copy on black smoke, Collecting Vinyl Records is hosting contest. Check it out- http://collectingvinylrecords.blogspot.com/2014/04/spacelab9-walking-dead-soundtrack-vinyl.html
  8. Thanks. It has been rough, and fun at the same time. For me personally, I don't get sleep much between this, my day job, and university responsibilities!
  9. As stated above if you have a order number and a Paypal confirmation you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
  10. As far as what you are saying in regards to cloud storage I think you are right on the money. Humbly, I think we would admit that we are just two old dudes who are used to what have done in the past and are still getting acclimated to some of the advances in technology in so forth in the last few years. After switching to a new dedicated server today we were assured by tech will the site was live with heavy traffic that we will be fine bandwidth wise moving forward. But seriously thanks for the input/ideas and I will certainly pass that along.
  11. Just when I thought it would be a good time to quit drinking... Seriously, though thanks a lot. We are just two honest guys who love music and records. Shit happens but we want to interact and treat people the way we would want labels, bands, etc to interact with us.
  12. If you are receiving a cancellation notice it is because of the second change in servers during the day that was done to increase bandwidth again and then moving to another dedicated server caused an interruption between our server and Paypal. As long as you you have a order number and a Paypal confirmation number you are fine-you will receive your order. The orders are being processed and the statuses are being changed manually. All orders that read cancelled will be in the process of being approved, packed and shipped within the next several days. Some of you already have received confirmations, and a large chunk of orders have been processed and packed.
  13. Okay everyone. The new server seems to be working and the Breaking Bad pre-orders are live. If problems occur again we will keep you posted. As a small staffed indie we are trying to stay on top of this as best as we can.
  14. Hello everyone, after quadrupling our bandwidth we are still experiencing issues with our server. We are in the process of relocating the website over to a dedicated server, until then the Breaking Bad double lp is postponed. We will provide up to the minute updates via Facebook/Twitter. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  15. “BREAKING BAD (Original Score From The Television Series)” features original music by composer Dave Porter and includes hand-picked selections from the most pivotal moments of the entire series. Baby’s Coming 9. Jane’s Demise 10. The Cousins 11. Hank In Pursuit 12. The Long Walk Alone (Heisenberg’s Theme) 13. Searching For Jesse 14. Aztek 15. Four Corners / Waiting For The End 16. 16. Thanks we invested a lot of time and money in upgrading the servers so hopefully we fare better this time around in that regard.
  17. We will be posting full photo reveals of the packaging in the coming days. I just posted a few sneak peek photos of the packaging/vinyl on our Facebook page. Check it out: https://www.facebook.com/spacelabnine
  18. To answer your questions regarding the colored vinyl breakdown: 500 "Walter White" 200 "Jesse Pinkman"
  19. We are hoping the server doesnt implode again where will have to resort to taking down the colored variant for a second round.
  20. It will indeed be random distribution to stores/online retailers. It is very possible that Amazon will have colored vinyl. I have said before while that randomness drives collectors insane our intent is not for that to occur but to surprise fans who order the record and get thrilled that they came across a colored copy. Not to sound like an old fart or take steam away from the relevancy from online retailers a huge part of why we did this is to entice people to leave their house and support their local record store. Wouldn't it be a thrill to walk into your local record store and find a colored copy on the racks? As much as we love collecting records we also like to not abandon our roots and the people (i.e independent record stores) who have made not only our past endeavors successful but have been an integral part of our lives as music fans. I saw in the other thread that a community member here works at Hastings and spotted black smoke copies of the Walking Dead lp in his store- and that is going to make someone really excited. To us that is awesome but who knows maybe we are alone in that sentiment. Regardless thanks for the support everyone!
