i'd just like to make sure i know how we got here. some unlucky cyclist hired a lawyer to release a record he can't talk about on a label with no records but four websites, and some chud who can't be older than 15 and plays in a band that sounds like latter-day underoath and has streetwear-style merch is salty because he got called out for grossly overstating his sales numbers and for being a careerist punk.

am i right so far?

i still don't get this logic that a label screwing up and then making good is somehow desirable

what about a business that avoids making simple mistakes?

i'm sure people order from more than just here but a person who says they've been around the block and decided that VC is the only reliable distro is 100% faking the funk

get real, how many other places do most of you order records from?

of the maybe two times i've ever ordered from VC, one of the orders had this exact same problem. i pre-ordered something, the records were slow to ship and something sold out.

so, here's a crazy thought: use an accounting system in which when you sell a record, you remove it from inventory. that way you stop selling records to two people and having to scramble to fix it

"great customer service" is kind of underwhelming when it's just a response to continuously making a dumb error that comes down to counting things wrong
