Yeah I'm 100% sure they were TOTALLY involved with the low-key skype relationship Jesse had with a minor. I'm sure he talked about it all the time to his bandmates, how he jerked off on camera for a 15 year old.
Shut the fuck up man.
Honestly, as someone who isn't very "scene" focused in that I have no insider knowledge and very few friends who even listen to this genre of music, I've heard about things like this for a decade now. It was always "friend of a friend of a friend" type stories, so while I wouldn't have felt comfortable discussing it publicly, there's no way that the band members didn't have some idea that questionable behavior was taking place. There was a lot of smoke leading up to this fire.

Jeez -- the bundle with the poster jacked shipping from $5 to $18. Looks like I'll take the LP only.

weird there's no chunksaah/rise/whoever it is now pre-order bundle.
I think Rise will go live today, since something they listed last Friday has a release date of 7/22.
I don't remember Chunksaah getting a limited press for Comet when it came out, but I could be wrong. There was; however, a tour edition.

Ahh five hours!
Bummed that HWM won't be there, but glad to see D4 back!

this past year was amazing and chock full of good bands. if you want to see bands with more notoriety in one setting FEST probably not gonna be for you.
I've been to Fest 3x. Last year was the weakest lineup I've seen thus far -- from the headliners down to the non headliners.
I was listing headliner bands specifically because 15 should be a bigger occurrence (as 10 was a bigger celebration too).
Edit: And the first set of bands I listed were all bands who have Fested multiple times (most of which all played Fest 12 or 13 or both -- the last three I mentioned as being long shots.

Love these dudes.
Pre-ordered with the hoodie. Normally hate bundles, but I love the design.

Why do people need to budget things? How hard is it to spend within your means?
Spending within your means is budgeting. Most people aren't financially savvy, so they don't fully understand what within their means actually means. Having a budget helps quantify that to those people.

Fun show! Glad I went because I'm guessing it wont happen again soon.
Seen them 3x in the past year in roughly the same area (NJ/NY) and every time, Dave says "we will not see you again anytime soon."

Day Jobs by Trophy Lungs is worth a look. I would throw them in this category and I've been listening to this quite a bit since it came out.
Thanks for this! Digging it a lot.
Anything else in this vein would be much appreciated

Here's to being an odd size - 43L. Just got a custom suit from MySuit (for those of you in NYC, it's Herald Sq). Looks great, fits great. Really happy with the purchase.

It'd be cool to get some of the bigger bands back on this. Last year's lineup was somewhat weak for my tastes so I did Wrecking Ball in ATL instead.
Gimmie some HWM, Bouncing Souls, D4, Lucero. Some of the less likely but appealing names would be The Alkaline Trio, Against Me!, or Streetlight Manifesto.

If this really checks in at about 30 minutes, you can hear 25% of it in the clip previews.
I wish they'd press this on hot pink. Unicornography on orange is

Just pre-ordered the purple - shipping was only $4.99.
For those of you in the US who held off for that reason, it looks like they've fixed that.

Has anyone else received this? Or has there been an update? Release date was August 7th with vinyl to follow "a month later."

After a few more listens I am struggling to put my finger on what this reminds me of. Anyone else get a Thursday-City By The Light Divided vibe from some of the guitar and vocal tones?

Listened to the album for the first time with the lyrics right in front of me and I feel this is an absolute step up from TGG and by far the best thing the band has done, sonically and thematically. Lyrics are strong and emotional, moreso than previous records. There are a lot of musically intricate things going on behind the scenes that I think will get brought forward with subsequent listens. Butler's part is a little odd but I don't think it's bad, maybe just a little too crass. Have to say the production is garbage, though.
For me, TGG is far above anything else they've done. This isn't bad, just falls a little short.

Why do people fail to mention the songs on New Wave are superbly written? If you don't like quality, excellent-sounding production, that's a matter of choice, but there's a reason why New Wave is as heralded an album from AM! that there is...the songs...
White Crosses isn't too far off in progression, so why people really would drastically like one and not the other befuddles me...
I appreciate Asbestos for getting this back in to the world again! Thanks Flood!
Honestly, I don't think White Crosses is much better. When New Wave came out it just felt awful. I think for people who started with Reinventing (or earlier) it was really just so castrated (no pun intended). It felt boring, safe, lacking any of the fire that previous material had brought.
White Crosses felt like one of those "well it isn't going to be worse than New Wave" situations with my expectations. I still spin White Crosses from time to time, however I very rarely put on New Wave. For what it's worth, the b-sides would have been my favorite songs on the album.
If I may ask (and It doesn't matter to me, just curious) which was your first Against Me! album?

I see this hasn't been bumped in a while. Got an email from Interpunk saying it was out of stock. Odd considering I ordered a month prior to street date.
Really excited for this.

Can I buy these for non-Deja records?!
I'll take 500!

Yeah that's ok. In the heart of Atlanta pretty much. Are you going to rent a car?
No sir, just going to cab it or walk - seems like a 15 minute walk or so...

So who's for real going to this? I'm gonna keep a running list:
gmoney

We gotta grab a beer ('cept for you shanigans), or some Braves or something.
Also if Juan or cwhit don't need my couch or floor space (or don't come), I could house one or two. I live next door.
Nice, just got Braves tickets -- section 205 with two friends. We're probably booking here:
QUALITY HOTEL DOWNTOWN89 Luckie St., Atlanta, GA, 30303, USunless I hear something awful about the area. Seems to be right between Turner and the Masquerade.

Ugh I have a pretty full TLA collection, but there's no way I'm paying $250 for the Fat Store version. Did manage to snag the tour press in NJ, but Toby did his best to try to dissuade me. Had to show him an old Instagram of my TLA collection.
