The time has come to get rid of shirts that don't fit or never fit to make room in my house. These have been in storage for years, so please excuse the wrinkles. Most everything is in good shape, but worn here and there. Fully backed and already have an order in for this. Probably sit un-listened next to their 5.25 floppy disk album, but I like to spend money on jokes.

I posted this awhile ago, but the purchase fell through and I never followed up. Now I'm moving and want to try and get rid of this. It's a Death Cab for Cutie vinyl promo banner that measures 11' x 5' and was made for the Plans album release. It was up as a display in the Seattle Easy Street Records. The band said a few weeks ago on twitter that they are planning on having their entire back catalogue repressed soon.

 

Man, I want to sell while the price is still high and then re-buy once they drop in price, but my copies are all signed and I hate to let them go!

Man, I saw them last week and these weren't out yet. Be very grateful if someone is able to score an extra for me!

I use one of the open fields on discogs to log the price I pay for every record, so it's easy to do an export and get a total. I feel like I've been patient and scored lots of deals that have kept my cost to value ratio pretty good over the years.

 

Total Cost: $16,251.23

Total Average Worth: $29,674.90 (This number excludes 250 records from my collection with no sales history

 

Value Ratio: 1.83

 

If I didn't regularly sell off valuable stuff I've found for cheap that I wasn't too interested in, I'd definitely be over 2.

I was able to collect all those LPs finally, but it wasn't cheap.  Still working on the cassettes however, so shoot me a note if anyone is looking to get rid of any of those too.
