Not sure I'll go much higher Var so think about what a donation for some MP3s might be, ha ha.
Sigh....... Must control spending.......
$60

Although neither band is playing, the Self Defense Family / Fires split will be available for the first time at Fest.
-
Also, would have liked to have come down for this today, didn't know anything about it.
Guess I am "out of the loop" here in Gainesville.
-
$45 on Panthro

Even though neither of us are playing FEST, if records are in by then, I'd like to do something special for a small run.
Should be done by then. Records should be done in 2 weeks, barring any set backs, and the covers are being delivered at Fest check in.

Title says it all. Covers are being printed, waiting on vinyl, should be done within a month.
Here is the cover art, by Sean Mahan:

Bump for one of the best bands going today........
-
No. Cumhard is their label. Did they have that record out there?
More than likely this will be a one off, "Hey, I get to put out a record from my favorite band", "I really like this other band and they put on a good live show" type thing. Two colors, waiting on artwork to send to print / press.
No preorder nonsense, will probably be one of the cheapest seven inches you can buy.
Details will be posted eventually.
-
Jealous.
Luckily, I am putting out a seven inch with them and Fires. Look for it soon, finishing details now.
-
to put the thread back on track, when have end of a year not been weird?
Valid point sir, they do put on quite the entertaining show.
Weird? Try best band in music right now.

I think this goes for $500
Item just got posted on a fairly well known vinyl auction blog. Tops $500 easily now, IMO.

Just finished book 4. The show is fantastic as well. I have a few small complaints, mainly when things happen for seemingly no reason on the show that were more fleshed out in the book.
Overall, I can't wait for season 2.
-
Yes. I won a record off ebay from England. Guy says he mailed it 2 weeks ago, still have not received it. Waiting until the last minute to file a claim.

i can totally relate...
depending how you paid, you may be able to get the funds back. whether it's with Paypal (as long as it's within 45 days of transaction date) or your financial institution (within 60-90 days of trans date), advise them that you "paid for such and such item on this date, i never received the item, i contacted the merchant on such and such date... i am unable to resolve with the merchant". they'll process a chargeback with the merchant and the merchant has about 55 days or so to represent the chargeback. no representation... you get your money back. if they do represent, the merchant will provide documentation stating "per USPS's delivery confirmation, it was delivered on said date." you'll have a time frame to submit a rebuttal letter, in which you advise them you never received the item. however, it does vary between financial institutions, whether they charge off the amount after the merchant receives your rebuttal and doesn't accept the transaction...
file a dispute and hold your ground.
Really? Make the label give you money back when it was clearly the fault of USPS?
Not cool.

$175 for Texas Is The Reason on white
$56 for an Allied Records test of HWM - Alachua
Nothing else really stands out.

Elliott- False Cathedrals burgundy press...every time I see this pop up online, very rarely, it goes for the price of a small car. I would even go for the black press but those never last either. vinyljunkie had one I was watching til payday but of course someone snagged it. some day *sigh*
$35-$55 has been the going rate over the past few auctions on ebay.

One of my best friends is teaching English to school children in South Korea. He's absolutely loving it.
Same..... he was in Incheon, but is now in Seoul.
Went over about 3 years ago, really has no plans of coming back anytime soon, he loves it.

Suburban Home Records launched in 1995. In 2008, the site recorded gross revenues of roughly $1 million. Sales have reduced since then.
Didn't get past this.
No doubt. $1 million in gross sales? That is insane.

The Tampa area used to be a must stop for all things vinyl. Vinyl Fever is more or less that last of an era that included Blue Chair and cripes, was it called 403 Chaos? I saw some awesome shows there including one where a certain Tampa gentleman ran around wrapped in barbed wire.
Yes.....403 Chaos. Such a great store / show space. I still have some flyers from shows back then. Ink And Dagger, Reversal Of Man, Hot Water Music, Hankshaw, Peterbuilt. So many good shows there.
Between there and DIY records I was able to see TONS of great shows.

Spent years trying to find Texas Is The Reason "Do You Know Who You Are?" on white, then two popped up on ebay in the span of about 3 weeks. I offered the first guy an obscene amount of money, and he didn't take it. It sold for less than that. Luckily for me, the second one was up by that point, and the seller sold it to me off ebay for much less than the $175 the previous one sold for.
Now...... I guess some random End of a Year records that were exclusive to a Euro tour a few years back.

End of a Year - You Are Beneath Me

-
End of a Year, hands down. One of the best albums I have heard in the last couple of years.
-
12 Hour Turn killed it. One of the best shows I have seen in a while. Really wish they would just get back together.
