Can't wait to get my Ducktails live on WMFU.

My Ducktails - Apple Walk 7" never made it to me, so I emailed him and I just got it today, turns out they sent me a test press! Hope it was intentional. Really stoked on it.

Yeah great guy for sure, was cool enough to provide some LPs when I was running the limited edition site, very good msuic he puts out.

I do not believe he owns the lathe, a guy out in New Zealand makes his lathe cuts.

My dad has a lathe, I am tempted to see how that all works.

He actually has 4 lathes. I think he may get the plates or records or whatever they are called to cut them himself.

This guy is a great guy. Take advantage of the great releases for cheap. When I get a job again I'ma hit PIAPK hard.

Look out for the Little Wings 12" coming out, it will rule. And both sides are going to play inside out.

I just did a weekend trip to Seattle last month. I highly recommend Jive Time for used stuff. They also have a great overstock section in the anitque mall across the street. Best $1 section ever.

Easy Street and Everyday Music are good spots. Sonic Boom was ok. Avoid Bop Street. Huge selection, but way overpriced.

How many records have you bought with the intent to flip?

I've done it twice:

One man army - Last Word Spoken (found it used, bought it, cleaned it, sold it)

Ryan Adams - Wonderwall 7" (Had a copy already, bought another new and sold)

Europe press looks so much more purple.

My record store (Sonic Boom in Ballard, WA) had quite a few copies, but I got there when they opened. No ticket in my or my girlfriends copy. I got #1532 and #1533. The vinyl I got looks more blue and has marbling but this is definitely awesome packaging.

Shit, my second copy just came in the mail. I wonder how much dangerbird is losing with this fuck up?

Oh, are most the copies like that? I got a few whisps of green in it, but it is so strange that they are advertised as clear green, when they are mostly clear.

I ordered two copies from their merchnow shop and they were both clear, even though the shop says clear coke bottle green (as well as the sticker on the packaging).

Is this well know?
