Do you actually have it set up that way?  First order of business should be to upgrade your speaker placement.

space is really tough, i know speakers and turntable on the same shelf is a big no.

but it's already cramped and short of putting in a new shelf (which wouldn't hold, the walls are shit) i don't have any other options.

AT LP-120, an old kenwood receiver from the 70's, two average speakers i picked up at a yard sale. looking to upgrade both the receiver and speakers soon. and of course, built to spill spinning.

can someone explain the appeal of Modern Baseball?

beyond, what, 3 or 4 catchy songs, nothing by them is remarkable or memorable. especially that singer's voice, so tired and bored. how am i supposed to care when he doesn't seem to have any investment either?

god, i can't stand Brave Bird. the singer is so high and mighty and seems to think his music is the second coming of American Football. some of the interviews/facebook posts from them are just whiny and insufferable.
