The Abner Jay record is officially titled "The True Story of Abner Jay". You had me thinking there was something I didn't have. Good stuff, which I had money.
Noted and retitled in listing.
Also, bump.

I started putting these on ebay. Big thanks to everyone who bought some here. Total appresh.

Follow this link to the never released comedy album from The State, Comedy for Gracious Living.

I'm sure a vast majority of us remember this show from the 1990s on MTV, and if you don't then get on it, they were amazing. This album was cut around 1998 and deemed unlistenable by the label. It leaked about a year ago.
Great, off the wall sketches.
Holy shit..I never even knew this existed! Thanks!
Yeah me either untill like a month ago, I heard Thomas Lennon casually mention it got canned by the label and from there I was on the hunt. Glad someone else enjoyed it.

Not soon enough haha.
Seriously, this guy was way over rated.

Posted this once before thought I'd do it again. A friend and I do a sketch podcast over at:
www.twodudesradio.blogspot.com
we post a new episode every other week, so check it out if you can. They run about 30 minutes and have a theme.
This week: Funerals
Thanks,
Sam

LA is awesome, don't believe any of the nonsense above, it's a great city to wander around and have fun in. If you end up here go to Clifton's Cafeteria on Broadway in downtown, cheap and amazing lunches.
But I am partial to San Francisco, the city rules. In all seriousness if you go there go to 1-2-3-4 Go in Oakland, that store is off the chain.

cool interview dude.
Hey thanks a bunch, it was actually the other guy, Dave, who did it, but I thought he had some really cool things to say. Much better than our previous effort, which sounded as though it were recorded in a static factory.
Oh, btw, this is a bump.

I do a podcast over here www.twodudesradio.blogspot.com with a buddy of mine on the every week tip. This week we tackle the letter A which includes a few songs and a lengthy interview with the Anchor Arms in which all but one of the following is discussed: Gainesville, their new album, their under the influence pick, influences, and abortions. Its anyone guess really.
Thanks,
Sam from Two Dudes

for the most part this was a pretty "awkward" show.
I caught the last parts of Jeff Pezzati and it consisted of him looking down at notebook paper to remember lyrics.
Jonah was by far the most solid set of the night - did a Jawbox cover of Savory and Sade's "No Ordinary Love"
Walter was really out of character or something. There were drunk girls yelling at him throughout the set that didn't help the vibe. He did High Hopes, Sitting Around at Home, and Travel by Telephone.
HR - knew he was going to be wacky. Couldn't be in there for more than a couple songs.
This show was awkward to say the least, I thought Jonah killed as per usual and after Walter's set I split, but the weirdest part was Pezzati reading lyrics of a piece of paper, he looked bored and irritated to be there.
The whole thing was weird as heel, also, Jonah didn't have any art, at least not that I saw.
Best part was Jonah playing in the parking lot before Walter's set.

Underground Railroad to Candyland, Trash Talk, Mika Miko, Fucked Up Feb 8 @ the Echoplex with Keith Morris on the turntables between sets and ripping through Nervous Breakdown w/F'd Up.
This ruled!

I don't think I would want my company's logo underneath that guys face. I'm just saying.
-
Just thought I would give this a nice midweek bump. If you like the show come on back we post a new episode every weekend.
-
I do a podcast with a buddy and we did a hardcore episode, posted today, which includes an interview with Pink Eyes from Fucked Up. If you have a second check it out here:

and if you like it tell a friend.
Thanks

Who'd you order from?
I just bought it Amoeba, I think it might be the blue listed on their website, it's sort of a sefoam green to me though.
-
Sorry if this has already been posted, but I couldn't find it. I have the new Lucero record on green, does anyone know how many of these were pressed?

The Benno DVD tower supposedly holds:
Holds 180 CDs, 88 DVDs or 40 videos.
If you've got the CD/DVD shelf, based on the math I'd say it holds right around the same number as the tower since its shorter but twice as wide.
Thanks dude
-
Does anybody have one of these and can you tell me how many Dvds it holds?
Thanks

Too much work for the library system.
Yeah, it's a total pain in the ass, but it looks really cool. I should be done within a year or two.
again. sorry.

Not sure if this has been posted here, but these guys run a pretty cool website highlighting various vinyl related products and has really a cool , though slightly arduous, way of documenting vinyl online. Check it out:
I edited this because I type so poorly and never proof read. Sorry.
