NICE! No b-sides LP, looks like, but NICE!

So I preordered this not having heard anything since their first record, and I finally got around to listening to the MP3s that were sent with the box. I don't really care for this album, so I haven't opened it to listen on vinyl. If anybody wants it, let me know. I paid $60 with shipping, I'd be happy with a little less.

Curious about this. I thought they were done for good.

I guess most of the stuff was recorded in 2012 before Ben got sick, and Ally took some time off before finishing it. It seems like a nice tribute to her good friend. The one track I heard I didn't listen to all the way through because I want to experience the whole record at once, but it sounded really good.

There's also supposed to be a 7" or something? It was on the BF RSD list for a minute but no one seems to know anything about it.

Noooope, it's because my parents send me to a Catholic school. It's basically a class where they try to cram why their religion is right down your throat and any question that is remotely difficult to answer is highly frowned upon to ask. Just spent an hour filling out a packet of exactly what my teacher wanted to hear rather than questions/discussion/anything of merit

I'm not even sure I did. I just saw the name of that band and had a weird memory of that being the joke in a film, where I think the character plays tuba with that band and keeps saying "I played with the ween!" which doesn't make sense really unless there's a 'the' in the name which it doesn't seem like there is.

 

None of that happened, I'm convinced now.

I hate iced coffee. Something about it is just wrong IMO. I'll take a hot black cup in the morning and maybe a latte every once in a while, but that's it. Nothing beats a nice black.
