I don't know much about his dealings in rap. But what he did to New Orleans artists, Smokey Johnson, Wardell Quezergue, and the amazing, late, Eddie Bo was sell them on letting him have rights to their music and then stiffing them when they should get royalties. 

Damn. I had always wondered about that "Impeach the President" re-issue. Too bad, I remember Tuff City being a somewhat reputable label in the 90's. Interesting reads!

Not sure if anyone will bite but I have some stuff that's been hanging out that I'd like taken off my hands. Prices have been vetted from Discogs and eBay; I researched as much as I could and there's about a 5%-10% difference (less) than what these have been going for. Records are all VG+ NM, or M, are cared for properly, and have been in a smoke free home for the entire time they’ve been owned. I figured I’d put them up here before putting them up on eBay/discogs. PM me with any questions.

What's up, Team? 

It's been almost 6 years since I've last posted. I'm back and wanted to say hello to all of the old friends and all of the new cats I've seen digging around the VC message boards. 

Even in my absence, I've always been fond of VC as a community, as a great place to go and interact with good people about records, sports, beer,...whatever, really. 

I've made lifelong friendships here, and have kept in touch w/ 5-6 people I've met here over the years via social media, and it's great to see that many of them are still posting.

Apologies for starting a brand new thread, I just wanted to say hello again and hope to see/hear from more of you in the coming weeks/months. 

In my absence, I've become quite fond of funk/soul/rare groove LP's and 45's. I don't suppose anyone shares the same affinity? If so, I'm considering starting a thread to serve as discussion for these records, unless of course, one already exists. I've come to know a few people in this community, and their wealth of knowledge about this kind of music is INSANE..

I'm also looking to unload some stuff, so look for me on the sale/trade/wants thread in the coming days.
