Use headphones when I'm alone but have a lot of friends over for drinks before we go out so like to stick some music on in the background. Thing is I'd probably be using youtube more than itunes ha. Thanks though

I know there is no such thing as a wireless cable but hopefully yous get the idea. Would like to play music from my laptop from time to time through my amp and speakers but sick of having to be sat uncomfortably for the aux cable to reach. I was just wondering what recommendations people have regarding wireless receiving. In my little knowledge id expect some sort of damage to the quality but not too bothered as I doubt I could tell any difference anyway. Using the denon pma520ae amp if that matters. Any help would be appreciated.

yeah I think i will check them blue jeans out as I've seen a lot of people recommending them. thanks. Ended up using some old speaker wire that my uncle had lying about and it sounds great to me. May not sound as great to an avid listener but being a noob has its benefits

Finally got my first setup all bought and ready to put together but not sure on what speaker cables i should buy. My setup is Rega Rp1 turntable, denon pma-520ae amplifier and q acoustics 2020i speakers if that makes a difference on what cables to buy. Also quite confused on how to connect the cables once i actually get them but im just gonna take one step at a time and hopefully figure it out along the way with a bit of help. Any suggestions much appreciated

I was going to stay away from 2nd hand with me being new to the whole thing e.g. not knowing how good or bad a condition something is in. Any recommended sites with 2nd hand items?

Don't know why but I'm pretty set on the RP1. Probably to do with mostly favourable reviews and the simple look of the thing. I never thought of looking at bundle deals and wasnt aware of the listening option so thanks alot.

I've wanted to get into vinyl for a while now and decided to finally bite the bullet. I have a budget of around £500 which i can be a bit flexible with so guessing i'm looking at more entry level equipment. Through reading this forum and reading the beginners guide i have an idea (being new to this i have to admit some of it confuses me) of what equipment i want to buy but need a little help in choosing for definite. So far the setup i am looking at would be: Turntable - Rega rp1 Integrated amp - Denon PMA-520AE Speakers - Wharfedale diamond 10.0 This comes to about £470 on amazon so falls within my budget. Basically i just wanted to ask if you think this would be an okay setup for a beginner or if you had any other recommendations. I hope i'm not breaking any of the rules of the forum and any help would be hugely appreciated.
